Sketchy service UPDATE: The general manager, Mr. Asif Premji, contacted my daughter and explained he was unaware of my daughters problems with the service department UPDATE: The general manager, Mr. Asif Premji, contacted my daughter and explained he was unaware of my daughters problems with the service department. He was very polite and cordial. It was explained to him that she was taking her car elsewhere to be repaired. She told him she was quoted just under $400 to repair it. He offered to pay for it and a cheque was made out for $300 (which is under $400 I guess). The mechanic started on the transmission. Lo and behold, a part is missing from the transmission. Not broke off, just missing. She contacted Mr. Premji and informed him of the situation. We are currently awaiting Okotoks Honda, and Mr. Premji response. My daughter brought her Honda Civic in to have her starter repaired. They did a diagnostic on it and said the starter needed to be fixed. They fixed it for nearly $550. She picked up her car and drove it about 2 km down the road when it stopped moving. She looked under her car and transmission fluid was leaking everywhere. She called the service department and they told her they would tow it back and run ANOTHER diagnostic on it. All said and done she was quoted another $800. There was nothing wrong with the transmission when it was dropped off. The transmission never had any leaks. There was no slippage when it shifted. It was fine. She drives it away and it begins to leak. My daughter sat in her car on the side of the road and just cried in frustration after talking to the service department. I spoke to a transmission shop in Calgary as my daughter did not want Okotoks Honda to further repair her car. The transmission shop said some transmission coolant lines would have needed to be removed to get to the starter. We will also be considering calling the Better Business Bureau about this situation. More

Marie was very accommodating from the first visit through the last phone conversation. At every stage, she listened to our situation re trade, budget and preferences. In the end, we did not purchase our vehicle there for one simple reason that had nothing to do with our experience or our treatment and everything to do with a personal feeling of security and comfort in the vehicle we did ultimately choose. I saw the ad in kijiji, I dealt with a sales consultant named Michael Waldroff and he was the most informative, thorough, sincere, caring, no pressure salesman I have ever experienced. I asked many questions, he would research and respond within minutes, maximum within hours. He was so accommodating, comprehensive and made buying a vehicle enjoyable for a change. I am not only happy , I am delighted!! I will only go back to this dealership to buy a vehicle in the future. Everything is how Michael promised and have nothing but the greatest things to say about this place. I also dealt with Kurt Mulder the Finance Mgr and his service ethic was exactly the same!! I went to Greg Aimer their boss and yes he was the same. So it appears that the whole location has a philosophy to put the customer first and to make buying a car stressfree. I find Calgary lacks a bit in the service industry but this time, it surpassed my expectations. They even went and put in a full tank of gas an hour before pickup and came to my home to take the plate so that I don't have to bring it back, and I live outside of Calgary!! Unbelievable. I love the vehicle and everything is as promised. Noone else could compare pricewise (neither private, nor in the US) and servicewise. More

Berton was extremely helpful with arranging perfect repair of small nicks and windshield repair, as well as the shipping of my car to BC. I was driven back to the airport exactly on time to catch my flight home, as I was on a tight deadline. The whole experience was first rate ! So I get this free oil change offer in the mail. Having 5% time to the required oil change I thought I would take advantage of this offer. Along with the oil change, there was a multipoint systems check. A report listed over $1000 of required work, which was a surprise as there had been no indication of problems. The list of deficiencies included replacing brakes, oil leaks and a switch requiring replacement. My local mechanic checked the brakes - at least 30% wear remaining. And I park in a garage with no sign of oil on the floor. HOW CAN I TRUST A DEALER THAT USES A HOOK TO GENERATE A FICTIONAL REPAIR LIST. More
