We have bought one car and leased a CRV from Majed. This guy should be running courses accross Canada for Honda Sales people. He has been courteous, quick to return calls (even to Nova Scotia when it may not even benefit him) and though he has tremendous enthusiasm about the product, at no time did we feel pressured to make a deal. We are so thrilled with his service that we may try to incoporate a trip to Okotoks in the Fall to either purchase or lease a car from him. More

He was the salesman I dealt with at the Glendeer Auto Park years ago. We actually first met him on a Sunday when we were only window shopping and he was there! He is keen, personable, gives exemplary customer service and is generally an all around nice guy. Ever since then and 3 dealerships later, he still takes the time to remember our birthdays, anniversaries and special holidays and has shown us nothing but courtesy and kindness. We have always felt that we have been dealt with fairly and in a timely manner, and the small touches with follow up care ie: phone call to ask if we are enjoying our vehicle and do we have any questions etc: We would recommend Honda okotoks to all our friends and family for their friendly and efficient service. I had actually gotten my crv from Majed in Calgary before he transferred out to Okotoks. But since he was such a pleasure to work with on my purchase, Okotoks was where I decided I would go to service my c he transferred out to Okotoks. But since he was such a pleasure to work with on my purchase, Okotoks was where I decided I would go to service my car when I found out that that is where he went. Its the people who make the experience, not just the people. And of course that I had a safe reliable vehicle that suited me and my family's needs! When I brought my car in for service and peaked in the showroom at what was available, Majed once again was so helpful in answering my questions and getting me the information I needed. And of course the staff were so friendly and took time out to entertain my energetic boys while they waited. I tell people to go to Okotoks if they are looking because I know they will get friendly helpful service! It's worth going a little further for something better. :) More

Great service from the salesman. Alif picked me up from my home and found a way to make the car I want fit into my monthly budget. My 2009 Honda Pilot Touring broke down on December 3rd, 2011. Warning lights started flashing, the radio turned off, the GPS turned off, and I started to lose power. I pulled into a school parking lot an 2011. Warning lights started flashing, the radio turned off, the GPS turned off, and I started to lose power. I pulled into a school parking lot and tried to back into a parking stall in case I needed a tow. Reverse didn't work at all. I couldn't see any issues under the hood, but I'm no mechanic. I called AMA and got the Pilot towed to Okotoks Honda, just south of Calgary. I fired off a quick e-mail to Duane, the Service Manager at Okotoks Honda, telling him what was going on and giving him the heads-up that the Pilot was on its way. Duane didn't know me; I got his e-mail address off the Okotoks Honda web site. He e-mailed me back right away and told me they would look at it as soon as it arrived. And this was a Saturday, no less! Later that afternoon, I got a call from Duane and he told me that there had been a small engine fire in the area between the ignition coil and first spark plug. He said that he had to report it to Honda Canada, and would let me know what was going to happen on Monday. I should note that the Pilot has 65,000km on it and is 35 months old. Just out of warranty, of course! During the week of December 5-9, I was in contact with Duane regularly. He arranged a courtesy car for me, a Honda Civic. In the meantime, the service technicians took photos, sent diagnostic reports to Honda Canada, and explained the situation to them. Time dragged on and the following week, December 12-16, was more of the same. Honda Canada was taking a long time to investigate the situation and ensure that this wasn't a problem that could affect other Pilots. Duane did warn me that if Honda Canada did a full scale investigation and if the parts weren't readily available, I could be without my Pilot for a couple of months. Ultimately, Honda Canada came to the conclusion that the engine fire was NOT caused by anything internal, and there must have been an external factor that caused the fire. I was disappointed with the decision given the absence of proof either way. Honda Canada had no evidence of any external cause, but they decided that since they couldn't specifically identify an internal cause, it must have been caused by external factors. So I ended up calling my auto insurance company, who agreed to cover the damage as a comprehensive claim. They even waived my deductible. As an added bonus, when I picked up my Pilot, I barely recognized the inside of it, as Duane had it detailed for me no charge! Okotoks Honda, and specifically Asif Premji and Duane Soondarsingh, were fantastic through this whole ordeal. Anytime you are dealing with an unusual event (especially involving a fire!) it can be disconcerting. They held my hand (figuratively) and made me feel better about the situation. Duane and Asif genuinely care about their customers, and it shows. As Asif told me, when you have customers like me who have bought vehicles from Okotoks Honda, referred friends who have purchased new vehicles from Okotoks Honda, and have my service done at Okotoks Honda, you HAVE to work to keep these customers satisfied. Although I still have reservations with Honda Canada's treatment of my situation, these reservations do not extend to Okotoks Honda. More
When I came in for a new Honda, I had no idea that my experience at the car dealership would be so pleasant. Who would think that, right? Afterall, a preghnant woman coming in on her own could easily be taken advantage of. But I was ready to go to battle. Turned out, there was no need. Majed was on the job. He was so straightforward, no pressure, easy going, and genuine. I love how he made getting a new car a celebratory event by taking my picture with it and emailing it to me! As well, Majed really went and continues to go out of his way to stay in touch, even after the sale. He always makes himself available. I still talk about my experience with Majed and recommend him to any and all people looking to buy a vehicle. More
My husband and I met Majed at the 2008 car show while researching mini vans for our growing family. After several miles of laps around the round up centre and thousands of questions later, we were very impressed with the product Honda had and impressed with the quality of service that Majed provided. Majed was knowledgable and professional but more importantly Majed actually listened to what we needed and found a vehicle that met those needs rather than sell us a brand new top of the line truck that my husband was eyeing that, while very pretty and still within our budget, was not practical for our needs. And while we loved our minivan, what has made us loyal to Honda (and to Majed) is the service we received AFTER the ink dried on the paper. Even after the warranty was up on the van, we have received nothing but courteous service from both the service and sales departments. I have numerous stories of how Majed has gone above and beyond for me, but the most memorable one was the time my van interior lights started flashing on and off like a strobe light. And while there was no threat of danger to drive and was not impeding my ability to see, my daughter has a seizure disorder. One phone call to Majed and 20 minutes later I was dropping off my van and picking up a loaner car he had arranged for me. This is just one example of how Majed goes out of his way for clients and I'm sure it's safe to say that as Sales Manager, his staff are just as client focused as he is!!! In fact, when it was time to bid adieu to the Odyssy, there was only one place we even considered to purchase our CRV, and we plan to return this fall to purchase a commuter car for my husband. Majed has wholeheartedly earned our trust and look forward to a long relationship with him and Honda!!! More
Not only did Asif keep his price consistent - he beat all the other dealerships in Calgary! Above and beyond only begins to describe the service of the vehicle AFTER the purchase was completed.
