This was a big transition for us - In 28 years we have owned about 12 different cars ranging in value from $600 to $3,500. Some of them only lasted a few weeks! We were lucky with one or two that managed to keep going for up to 6 years but this week we made a decision to take the worry out of car ownership, spend a little more to get some peace of mind. Breaking a life-times pattern of old beater car-buying was a huge psychological leap. Colin and Adam helped to make the experience painless and fun. He told me they can help me. I went in not knowing what to expect. Colin walked me through my options, and explained what would work for me, and help me build a strong future with Dodge. At the end of it all, I drove off in a 2015 Dart, my mind was blown! I never expected to be to be able to get into a new car. An experience that was beyond compare. Thanks John McAuley. The car I was looking at got sold before I could commit. Dealt with John via telephone from Northern Vsncouver Island, and found him to be a no xxxxxx The car I was looking at got sold before I could commit. Dealt with John via telephone from Northern Vsncouver Island, and found him to be a no xxxxxxxx type of guy, very honest and with great integrity. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful. Would love to have consummated a deal with him, but ended up finding the exact used Fiat 500 in the exact color that I wanted in Vancouver, and John was kind enough to congratulate me and say he was pleased for me. I spent most of my life working for car dealerships throughout Canada both in the Sales and Service Departments, and what I am about to describe below goes beyond anything I have experienced in all my years in the business. We had had our new to us car for about a week when I got an e- mail from John. He wrote that he hoped we were enjoying our Fiat 500, and that even though we had been unable to purchase from him and his dealership, that if I had any questions on the operation of our car, that I had only to drop him an e mail, or give him a call, and he would help me out in any way he could. I was amazed that this gentleman would go to these lengths to be kind to a customer that he did not even make the sale to. It was very touching . So imagine, prospective purchasers, imagine if you will how John McAuley would treat you if you were to actually purchase a new or used vehicle from him. Warranty repairs My vehicle required a small warrant repair (the ignition coil needed replacing). While the part was not in stock they did everything possible to get i My vehicle required a small warrant repair (the ignition coil needed replacing). While the part was not in stock they did everything possible to get it to me as soon as they could. When the part arrived they made the repairs quickly, understanding I required my car ASAP. The staff were very polite and there were no efforts to try and upsell me on unnecessary service. I will definitely make this my new dealer of choice. I'm so pleased with their service department that while I didn't buy my car there, I will definitely buy my next one from them. More

A simple act of kindness goes so far. When I decided it was time to buy myself a truck I knew there would be challenges. John McAuley was highly recommended by a friend and I am so grateful. He listened to me as I listed all of my expectations and almost immediately he had the right truck. He did, it was everything I had asked for...However...because I am not quite 5' tall I could not sit comfortably and see over the dash. I was heartbroken as I left the lot ... I really wanted THAT Dodge Ram. Later John called to say that Okanagan Dodge was prepared to make some modifications so that I would feel comfortable in the drivers seat.
