New 2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium California Special Service department had my vehicle for 11 days to diagnose a rattle and do other warranty work. Vehicle was returned to me twice stating rattle was fi Service department had my vehicle for 11 days to diagnose a rattle and do other warranty work. Vehicle was returned to me twice stating rattle was fixed. Had to take vehicle back into Calgary for follow up to warranty work and because rattle not fixed. On second occasion when vehicle brought in for rattle repair I left the Service Center having been told "they were confident rattle was fixed". I was driving home on the highway for less than 5 minutes rattle sound still there, rattle sound never fixed for second time. On Invoice states "performed a road test, the rattle sound LEST." Not sure what LEST means. Next day went out for drive with retired mechanic who lives next door, he hears rattle very clearly. Now taking my brand new Mustang to my local Ford dealership. More

Early morning ignition switch replacement Alex and the team got my truck in at 6:00 am whe the mechanics came in at 7 they looked at it right away and got me out in the hour. Still able to b Alex and the team got my truck in at 6:00 am whe the mechanics came in at 7 they looked at it right away and got me out in the hour. In retrospect I cannot say I was always happy with their service departments. In 2014, I was in the market for a new vehicle and decided to look at Ford. I was very impressed with the quality and performance and purchased my first Ford after approximately 20 years of imports. The experience through the sales cycle was fantastic. Since then I have purchased 3 other Ford vehicles from Northstar Calgary. The reason for the repeat business was not the flawless sales cycle but the service department. They communicate exceptionally well and continuously keep me informed of the status of my vehicle. They always always let me know about any additional services or recalls that need to be addressed. When something complex needed to be discussed, they have had the service manager or service technician call me. You just can’t beat the commitment to great customer service. It sounds simple... If it is so simple, why can’t other service departments deliver this type of service? I believe it is a result of strong leadership and a culture of pride in what they do. Great job! More
