Highly Professional Windshield Replacement I dropped my car off on Tuesday morning to get a new windshield. I knew going in and it was confirmed by Fiona as I checked in, that I would have to l I dropped my car off on Tuesday morning to get a new windshield. I knew going in and it was confirmed by Fiona as I checked in, that I would have to leave the car all day. The check-in process (from driving up to the garage door) to walking over to the courtesy shutter driver for a ride took less than five minutes. Fiona called me at 3:52 pm to say the car was ready for pickup. When I arrived, it again took less than five minutes to clear up the paperwork and get the keys. Extremely efficient and attentive staff at both ends of the process and the work by the service technicians was excellent. Overall, a very satisfying experience provided by high professional representatives. More

Derek and Brett were knowledgeable and friendly and on pick up/ purchase day everything went quickly and smoothly. Unfortunately we had to bring the car in for servicing soon after the purchase and Fiona was direct and to the point but friendly and our car was repaired as quickly as possible and Fiona kept up to date by informing me constantly of all the pertinent issues. I’m very comfortable with my purchase, would recommend to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. More
Not nearly as professional as other dealers I knew what was needed, I asked for the parts to be ordered and I made an appointment. I was there waiting for over an hour and a half for what shoul I knew what was needed, I asked for the parts to be ordered and I made an appointment. I was there waiting for over an hour and a half for what should have been a half hour job. That to me is very poor service. Everyone I spoke to was very nice but seriously lacked professionalism. Vehicles are very expensive to purchase and maintain and one would like to feel that the sales and service people involved are serious about their business. To put in time, I asked a sales person some questions about a new explorer in the shoe room. I wanted to know how the roof rack functioned because there is no evident means to tie things down to it. He said that he didn't know and that I should ask the parts department. I asked them in parts, they looked up the add-ons but also didn't know how they worked. I asked the sales person what colour that particular vehicle was. He didn't know. I asked how to stow the rear seats. I had been able to get one down but not the other. He couldn't make them function and said that the battery must be dead. However the lights were on in the cabin. He asked me what I drove presently and I replied "an MKT. He asked if I were thinking of "upgrading" to an explorer? Really? that is considered an "upgrade" He didn't seem to know what an MKT was although he said that he drove an MKX. He thought that it was an MKC (Escape for those that didn't know.) Instead of wandering around chatting with other staff, time might be better spent memorizing spec sheets and at least keeping batteries charge and knowing information regarding display models in the showroom. I seriously felt as a 60 something woman I knew more about cars than the sales people. Maybe some "lunch and learns" would be helpful. More

We find all of their staff friendly, efficient but most importantly knowledgeable regarding service requirements. They always take the time to answer any queries and we never feel rushed through the process. Fiona and others in the past have let us know about any service deal packages which we appreciate. We have never had to bring any vehicle back because it wasn't repaired properly. Our most recent experience was super convenient, as usual. I called to book an appointment and we were able to make it for the following day. We dropped the vehicle that night, using the key drop box and received a cheery phone call first thing in the morning from Fiona to confirm our service plan. Fiona called when our vehicle was ready and we breezed in just before closing to pick it up. More

Northstar advised that the brakes were still fine and recommended a brake fluid flush. A less expensive option for sure than replacing brake pads and/or rotors. I still recommend Northstar for vehicle purchases or service. More
