No Call Back I have taken my vehicles a couple of times to Northstar Ford for basic maintenance repairs. Every time that I take my car in I have to figure out my o I have taken my vehicles a couple of times to Northstar Ford for basic maintenance repairs. Every time that I take my car in I have to figure out my own service schedule as no one ever calls to inform me about when, where, or how my vehicle is going. The most useful person there was the receptionist at 8 P.M when I had to figure out on my own if my car was completed. I usually don't write any reviews about companies but after the 3rd attempt at bringing vehicles here and getting no information, I felt the need to write one. I am not sure what the process is at this dealership, but I am pretty sure the customer is supposed to be made aware about their vehicle and not left in the dark to guess what is happening. If I don't have to come to the dealer for repairs I won’t. I gave 3 chances here and have not had a good experience with any of them. 1st visit after buying my slightly used 2014 vehicle, I brought it in for a basic oil change and check up. When I received the car back my passenger rear quarter panel was pushed in, when I called the dealerships service manager he recommended me to see dent clinic even though it happened on the lot while my car was there for service, I paid for the repair and had it back in a few hours with zero support from the dealer. 2nd. I brought in my 2014 F150 for a socket repair on the back of the center console after my dog broke it off. When I dropped the truck off I explained that it was my fault and that I needed it replaced. After waiting the whole day, I called at 5pm to find out what was happening as I didn't hear from the service department again. I was told the truck was ready for pick up. When I got there, I asked if the socket was replaced and the service adviser told me that they had to order the parts in and I would receive a call when they got there. I am still waiting for that call 4 years later. The sad part is, I took the truck to Shaw GMC and a mechanic there had it fixed and back to me within 5 minutes with no parts to order. To me if I was working at Ford, that would be very embarrassing as the competitor fixed your truck in no time at all. 3rd. I went in yesterday to get an airbag recall completed. I am from the dealership world, and understand it is a hectic and busy all the time, but again I didn't get any sort of update about my car or when it would be done or if it was complete, until I spoke to the receptionist and resolved the issue with her. Thankfully she was able to assist me as I was starting to get quite frustrated waiting all day to hear about a 30 minute repair. I hate to write this about Ford because I actually really like my vehicles, but at the same time, after multiple different instances that were poor service, I had to write about Northstar. I am not speaking about the work performed on my vehicle, as I have not had an issue with any repairs that have been done, purely customer service issues. Hopefully this will help in your future business plans. More

Longest Oil Change EVER Went in for an oil change and tire change last week and the mechanic somehow managed to smash my windshield. As unimpressed as I was, I understand that accidents happen--that isn't why I'm leaving a bad review. No, it was how the situation was handled afterwards to really annoyed me. They kept my car for an extra day to replace the windshield, but ordered in the wrong one. This is the same dealership I bought the car from, so I do not know how they could have screwed that up. I only found out about the mix up when I finally called to see if the car was ready for pick-up because I hadn't heard from Northstar all day. 4pm on a Friday, they tell me I'll have to return the following week because they screwed up. Finally, on day THREE I got my car back in one piece. There was no compensation offered for taking up two extra days of my time and no apology given. More
