Lack of coordination. I dropped my truck three times only for one recall. First time I scheduled an appointment for the recall and dropped my truck in the morning, I calle I dropped my truck three times only for one recall. First time I scheduled an appointment for the recall and dropped my truck in the morning, I called them back in the afternoon to check the status, they told me they don't have the parts at that time and I have to schedule another time for the recall. After several days I got a message from Ford and told me parts already arrived I can drop the truck now. Then dropped the truck to shop again in the morning. Same i called them to check the status in the afternoon, they said sorry and they don't have parts in shop I have to come again. I don't understand if they didn't have parts why called me to drop the truck. The third time, they called me and said parts arrived. I scheduled a time and came again. When I came to shop they didn't find my appointment on their list. After a while they finally found my file in a draw and fixed the recall. More

Ended up being fine Fixed a silicone boot but blew off minutes after leaving the lot. Rear Hatch Repair Ford Escape Had to have my rear hatch fixed on my 2010 Ford Escape. It would not open anymore. I paid $189 for a diagnostic check then the total bill was $659. Had to have my rear hatch fixed on my 2010 Ford Escape. It would not open anymore. I paid $189 for a diagnostic check then the total bill was $659. This was an expensive repair and had to pay it as I did not have a choice. I feel they should have waived the diagnostic charge since I had it repaired. Just wondering whether others have had the same problem. Should this be a recall? The service person was fine. I was able to get a ride home and back to pick up the vehicle, which was repaired early. Good experience overall They were very busy when I got there, but I was greeted with a smile and was not rushed.
