Gas tank replacement................. Twice Yearly Service I brought my 2012 F150 in for its usual service and to get the wheels balanced. Originally I was going to drop the vehicle off and come back for it later in the afternoon as it was an all day appointment. Unfortunately by the time I got the truck in I had just missed the shuttle to take me home and it would take an hour for him to return. Fiona being the superstar that she is managed to work her magic and get the service finished on my truck in just under an hour and a half. I went from being without a truck for the day to having only been without it for an hour. As usual the work done was stellar and continues to draw me back to Northstar Ford. More
Oil change I came in for a $50 oil change and the service rep said according to their records I needed a transmission service according to their schedule. So I e I came in for a $50 oil change and the service rep said according to their records I needed a transmission service according to their schedule. So I ended up spending $500.00. An impromptu hasty decision led me to spend $450 that afterwards as I got out the owner's manual, I didn't need until 250,000 km. The vehicle had only 70,000. Once it's out of warranty I will go to another shop where the technician and service desk are people I know and trust who will tell me not what they want me to do to overspend on service, but what I actually need to do to keep the vehicle serviced well. I asked the service rep to send me a schedule of what Northstar Ford recommends for service so I can compare it with Ford's recommendations and prepare in advance for these service expenses, but she never did get back to me with the service schedule she claimed she was looking at on her screen that morning. She also said I needed to service the brake fluid - but I stated, "I bought the vehicle last fall. You claim it has always been serviced by Northstar. Wouldn't whomever owned it have done this? She then checked the records on the vehicle and stated, "Oh, yes, it was done once...but next time you'll need to have it done. But the transmission service had not ever been done." I will keep the vehicle serviced properly, but I need to know the schedule so I can plan on the expenses. She noted that Northstar has its own recommended schedule regardless of the owner's manual, and that's the schedule I wanted her to e-mail to me, but hasn't. More
Blows My Mind I was driving by Northstar Ford for unrelated buisness, and figured why not stop in to ask a question regarding an issue I was having with my Sync and I was driving by Northstar Ford for unrelated buisness, and figured why not stop in to ask a question regarding an issue I was having with my Sync and onboard menu system. I walked Into the service bay and before I could even close the door- I was greeted from across the work area yet again by Fiona and her smile. I briefly explained my issue and asked what could be done to address it.....well 1 phone call and less than a minute later- Fiona had my truck whisked away and said to come back in 45 minutes. Pretty much to the minute, Fiona called me and let me know the truck was ready. Upon picking up my vehicle, Fiona took the time to note that I was soon in need of an oil change. The constant above and beyond service I receive every time I walk into Northstar Ford, continues to surpass my expectations. Fiona has once again achieved a 5 star rating for her department and continues to be the reason I return to Northstar and refer friends to this dealership. Thanks again for the speedy fix and appreciating my time and issues. More

I Am So Glad I Bought This Ford Escape At Northstar. In 1997 I was gifted a Ford Explorer. It was a complete surprise. That car was my buddy up until 2012. . We went everywhere together. Like myself, however, it was showing its age and I was now hesitating when looking for back road explorations with it. When I donated it to the Kidney Foundation, it was still running, well,, and I still think about it fondly. I did not want its replacement to be the burden of anyone else. Yes, I asked for advice, for information. And I kept an open mind: I went here, there, everywhere, looking around. Came the day in April 2012 when I drove out from Northstar's lot with my Toreador Red Escape. Since that time nary a glitch. The whole scene, driving and servicing ,has been A-OK!! More
