3 visits, 3 days with no vehicle, no correct fixes I had an IWE issue in 2014 and once that was fixed (after multiple days for you to figure it out as well, it appeared to be fine with no issue again u I had an IWE issue in 2014 and once that was fixed (after multiple days for you to figure it out as well, it appeared to be fine with no issue again until Dec 2016). I was being laid off in Dec 2016 with option to purchase this truck from company once fixed by ford. I brought my company truck in to be repaired Dec 2016 to have the exact same (IWE issue/sounds/grinding/rubbing/vibration as in 2014) fixed with an open credit card to pay for any/all repairs prior to me purchasing it. 1st appointment you did not fix what I asked, but instead said it was a warranty issue. 2nd appointment you still did not fix what I asked, and only replaced warranty item that was ordered from 1st appointment. 3rd appointment you still did not fix the IWE issue I asked to be fixed originally, but found hoses that needed to be replaced. There was no charge due to the circumstances. I STILL have the IWE issue going on. I hope no one else can hear the grinding sound as I do, as I would be so embarrassed. I am very frustrated due to the fact that you never fixed what I asked 3 times, I now was laid off and bought the truck that was NOT repaired as per my companies request because FORD said it was something else which was warranty. How can it be something else if it is the exact same thing you told me/fixed in 2014. I DO NOT want a bill now... I am unemployed. I have had it in for 3 full days with no vehicle to drive, and it is STILL NOT FIXED. I cannot keep bringing it in with no vehicle endlessly. Very frustrated as this could have all been fixed and paid for in full by my paast company. Laura Weaver More

I like that things don't change, that I can talk with him if needed and get a full understanding o The mechanic who services my truck is always Ryan. I like that things don't change, that I can talk with him if needed and get a full understanding of what work is done and why. It helps he is there to answer my questions as well. I have a collector Porsche also and I do most of the service on it. However, at times in the past I needed to use the dealership in Calgary but have found the service department to be substantially less friendly, more fixed in their attitudes toward my needs and ultimately less capable of helping in the way I need. I no longer use them unless an absolute emergency. More

Gross over charging First-- I had to pay for the "diagnostics" which I don't mind IF the fee goes towards the full repair---it doesn't with northstar ford. Second--I was charged $189.95 for the diagnostic and the $22.79 for shop supplies---the diagnostic involves taking off a tire and checking a vacuum line---where would a mechanic use $22 worth of shop supplies. Third---the repair would take about an hour per wheel for a total of two hours (2.8 was estimated) but let's say three hours at the shop rate of $155 that's $465 plus $400 (Ford prices) for parts for a total of $865 Fourth---I was given an estimate of over$2200 for the repair front wheel actuators. Before I took my truck into northstar I was willing to pay up to $1200 for the repair but they overcharge so I did it myself for $250 which included parts ordered from the states. .invoice #339190 February 08,2017 More
