5 days in shop waiting for parts that were never ordered. Initially took in truck for pre-purchased maintenance plus look into warranty issue with hub. They tried and did an unauthorized full inspection and tried to charge me for this. Then tried to pin the charge on me based on that they found the recall and hub issue from it,!?!? The one I told them about!!! Gold me they could get at the extra issues today but might be able to tomorrow if I left it, I did leave it. Only to get there the next day faced with the charges I didn't ask for and the information that they didn't have the parts needed for the work anyways so could have never maybe gotten to it that extra day. Okay so I book it in for the remainder of the work a week and half later, drop it off Sunday night for the work. Had to phone them to find out what has happened with the truck, more work needs to be done as a result of not addressing the hub initially, and yes need to do it tomorrow. Par for the course at this point. Again don't hear from them until I call at the end of the day, when I am there to pick it up she informs me that they not only didn't do the recall but may not have ordered the parts, when she digs up the parts makes out the hero and wants to keep it one more day, this time assures me they will be done by noon, Yup 1:30 I get a call. Don't feel communication was good and question the honesty of what I was being told. Won't return More

Air bag recall After a few years of getting a nag letter from Ford saying not to drive my Mustang until I had the air bag inflators replaced as specified in numerous After a few years of getting a nag letter from Ford saying not to drive my Mustang until I had the air bag inflators replaced as specified in numerous recall letters, they finally were able to order the parts and have them in stock. I waited until both the driver side and passenger side inflators were available so I would only have to make 1 trip to the dealer. So I took it in and CSR said it would take most of the day. FIne! I took the shuttle home. I got a call at about 10:30 saying it was done and parts were on order for the drivers side airbag. WHAT???? I explained that both should have been ordered and I confirmed this when I booked the appointment. The CSR said to leave it with her and she would get back to me. A few hours later she said it was done. I was happy about that. I guess I learned to be very specific when booking car service. More

Brittany is Briiliant Brittany booked me in for my service, she was brilliant, asked me about my truck, how it rides, handles, noises etc, she covered everything. I did hav Brittany booked me in for my service, she was brilliant, asked me about my truck, how it rides, handles, noises etc, she covered everything. I did have an issue with Sync that was looked at reported as repaired when I picked up my truck but fault is still present. Spoke to Brittany she apologized and booked me in for another look. Minus blot on a great experience, hopefully they can fix it this time! More
No Call Back I have taken my vehicles a couple of times to Northstar Ford for basic maintenance repairs. Every time that I take my car in I have to figure out my o I have taken my vehicles a couple of times to Northstar Ford for basic maintenance repairs. Every time that I take my car in I have to figure out my own service schedule as no one ever calls to inform me about when, where, or how my vehicle is going. The most useful person there was the receptionist at 8 P.M when I had to figure out on my own if my car was completed. I usually don't write any reviews about companies but after the 3rd attempt at bringing vehicles here and getting no information, I felt the need to write one. I am not sure what the process is at this dealership, but I am pretty sure the customer is supposed to be made aware about their vehicle and not left in the dark to guess what is happening. If I don't have to come to the dealer for repairs I won’t. I gave 3 chances here and have not had a good experience with any of them. 1st visit after buying my slightly used 2014 vehicle, I brought it in for a basic oil change and check up. When I received the car back my passenger rear quarter panel was pushed in, when I called the dealerships service manager he recommended me to see dent clinic even though it happened on the lot while my car was there for service, I paid for the repair and had it back in a few hours with zero support from the dealer. 2nd. I brought in my 2014 F150 for a socket repair on the back of the center console after my dog broke it off. When I dropped the truck off I explained that it was my fault and that I needed it replaced. After waiting the whole day, I called at 5pm to find out what was happening as I didn't hear from the service department again. I was told the truck was ready for pick up. When I got there, I asked if the socket was replaced and the service adviser told me that they had to order the parts in and I would receive a call when they got there. I am still waiting for that call 4 years later. The sad part is, I took the truck to Shaw GMC and a mechanic there had it fixed and back to me within 5 minutes with no parts to order. To me if I was working at Ford, that would be very embarrassing as the competitor fixed your truck in no time at all. 3rd. I went in yesterday to get an airbag recall completed. I am from the dealership world, and understand it is a hectic and busy all the time, but again I didn't get any sort of update about my car or when it would be done or if it was complete, until I spoke to the receptionist and resolved the issue with her. Thankfully she was able to assist me as I was starting to get quite frustrated waiting all day to hear about a 30 minute repair. I hate to write this about Ford because I actually really like my vehicles, but at the same time, after multiple different instances that were poor service, I had to write about Northstar. I am not speaking about the work performed on my vehicle, as I have not had an issue with any repairs that have been done, purely customer service issues. Hopefully this will help in your future business plans. More
