Service dept I had my brand new 2018 F-150 for a day when the latch mech on the drivers door started failing. After a couple days I realized that it was a problem I had my brand new 2018 F-150 for a day when the latch mech on the drivers door started failing. After a couple days I realized that it was a problem and called to book it in. I had also asked when I bought the truck to have the decals removed, this was not done and I was told that someone would contact me soon to have this done. When I called the service dept to book an appointment I explained that my wife was away and I had no one to drive me and my kids home after dropping the truck off. I asked if they would be able to shuttle me home after. I also asked to have the decals ( that they had forgotten to remove) removed. The answer to both requests was no. I was quite shocked. When the service dept was unwilling to accommodate what I thought were very reasonable requests I contacted my sales person. Heather once again came through with flying colours and was able to immediately resolve the situation. the service dept seems to do a good job, the truck was ready shortly after my appointment time. But their customer really seems to be lacking. More

New F-150 Heather and the sales team were awesome! We had a hard number to reach as far as our monthly payments were concerned. Had a small mechanical issue pop up the same day that we brought the truck home, and to be honest my first discussion with the service department did not go at all the way I thought it would have. But once again one call to Heather and everything turned out great! More

Dual Clutch & TCM Replacement I am an owner of a 2013 Ford Focus hatchback, purchased in 2015. Unfortunately I learned very quickly that all 2012 and 2013 Ford Focuses have a seri I am an owner of a 2013 Ford Focus hatchback, purchased in 2015. Unfortunately I learned very quickly that all 2012 and 2013 Ford Focuses have a serious issue with their internal clutch as they have a dual transmission and they are all faulty. I had the clutch replaced 2 times in 2015 and everything seemed good until October 2016 as I entered Canmore and came off the highway, the car clicked into neutral 3 times as I tried to accelerate. My heart sank as I didn't want to deal with it again....fortunately, it didn't happen again. Then, starting in July 2018 I noticed a slight shuddering again, every time when accelerating and that was all until end of August one day I got in my car and it would not engage into reverse as I was trying to back out of my parking spot. I knew it was the issue again so I called the closest dealership and of course I had to have my car towed at my own expense as that was not considered under warranty as my car was past the 100,000 standard warranty. Liane was not going to be able to offer me a free rental vehicle as they did not have time to check the car that day as it was Friday afternoon prior to labour day long weekend. she reviewed my car history and most likely saw that this was probably the same issue which is covered under warranty due to such a large scale issue with so many vehicles and they have extended the warranty up to 140K, which is great, however, still not long enough considering the car should simply have been recalled. They informed me the following week that indeed it was the clutch and TCM transmission and all was covered and they had my car for one week. Customer service was excellent from Liane and she made it a good experience and I am grateful I have my car up and running again, however, the down side is, this is the 3rd time this happened and there is no guarantee that it won't happen again sometime. It drives really nice now, better than even the other two times, so I am hoping this is a new and improved clutch. My greatest frustration is that there is no effort on Ford's part to recall this car as I know many people have had this issue dealt with 5 or 6 times and that is just not acceptable nor ok. How come the government has not forced a recall? this can become dangerous with gears not engaging, especially if it happens in the middle of an intersection as happened to me the first time and now, I was simply stuck in the parking lot. what if this happened in the middle of nowhere on a road trip? I'm planning a trip back to Manitoba sometime in the fall and I am sure glad it happened not and hope that it won't happen again while I am far away from tow service. all the time and energy and frustration spent on a recurring issue and this is not just my car, this is every car they made those 2 years it is mind boggling to know nothing except a warranty up to 140,000 is granted. if they are not going to recall the car, the next best thing and the VERY LEAST FORD should offer, would be to have a life time warranty on this issue. How am I going to be able to sell the car knowing this issue and if I don't want to drive it, I don't want others to drive it so for now, I keep driving it. Ford, I am still waiting for a better offer than simply replacing the clutch and TCM until the 140,000 are up. how much do your customers really matter to you, especially their safety? with the existing offer, our lives are worth a few thousand kms on the vehicle which again, has nothing to do with us as a person and does not protect us from something seriously going wrong. Please SERIOUSLY consider getting ALL 2012 and 2013 Focuses off the road, if you care even a bit about the humans driving those cars. You would, if your wife, daughter or any other treasured family member or friend was driving one of these vehicles. I bet you are not gifting one of those cars to any of those mentioned persons. Liane has been my best customer service experience with any Ford dealership. She has a calm and friendly demeanor and is very professional. She treated me like a person and not just a number. I hope she is compensated well for her great customer service skills and valued, appreciated and rewarded for her great service to the disappointed Ford customer like me, having to deal with this issue over and over again.
