Fixed after 15 years of frustration after 15+ years of misdiagnosis's this dealer was able to rectify loose steering, I have been complaining to other shops and dealers from near brand n after 15+ years of misdiagnosis's this dealer was able to rectify loose steering, I have been complaining to other shops and dealers from near brand new (original owner) I have always thought the steering gear was bad. Drives like a new vehicle now even though its 25y old. Will have fun driving and camping this year now. Thanks More
Excellent service, obscene hourly rates. The service at Northstar was excellent. However, their hourly rates are $150 which is obscene. Great Service I was really impressed with the sales staff when dropping off/pick up my car. All staff were pleasant, friendly and acknowledge my presence. I think I was offered coffee/water 3 times by different staff. Brittany was informative on what my car was in for, the process, the costs associated and advised of other cross sale opportunities in a non pushy way (which I accepted). Being in customer service, I look for it and was blown away by my experience. I would recommend to others. More
The ball got bounced . I would say the ball got bounced a few times as this all started about 5 months ago. After receiving the recall notice I contacted Northstar to book f I would say the ball got bounced a few times as this all started about 5 months ago. After receiving the recall notice I contacted Northstar to book for an appointment. I was told it would take up to 2 weeks for the part to be delivered to the dealership and a phone call would be placed for an appointment. Within that period I received a call asking for my mileage on the Escape when I left the message on voice mail. Up to now, 2 weeks ago I received another notice for the same recall and book for an appointment. Again another appointment would be made when the part would be in and during that time I received a call to bring it in. I brought the vehicle in the morning only to find out that my gas tank needed only 1/4 tank of fuel. To my disappointment I drove away in disgust and wonder where the level of communication lack in Northstar service and parts department. I did however bring the vehicle to have recall done and the fuel tank was less than 1/4 full last week. More

This is lower cost in the long run than lower cost service centre's who may make mistakes requiring return visits which are costly and waste time. Also, if the quality of the care is in question then so is the reliability of the vehicle which could be both costly and dangerous in some situations. More

While I was waiting inline Rob came over and started talking and being friendly. He was so engaged in his business it was unbelievable. Once I was in and he saw I had a baby seat in my car, he stated"we can't have this guy driving around with his kids and a leaky tire". I was like WOW. He spoke with Scott and found out if they had any cancellation and to figure out a way to squeeze me in. This was all on my lunch break. He wouldn't let me leave till the tire was fixed and ensured I'd be back at work on time. I got to my store in nick of time as our xxx systems had just crashed on a busy weekend and we had abut 300 cx in the store. Thanks Samantha for getting me in for a top up, Scott for squeezing me in, and most importantly Rob, for engaging your customers, for taking the time to care for my family, and for being a fantastic leader!!!! It clearly shows when a true leader cares about what they do. Rob is a ideal leader in today's workforce. More
