Pointed out invoice can be mailed to me, as I am on my way to Edmonton, then asked if I could wait for the invoice but it will be some time. I said no just give me the keys after visiting someone in the back the said my car would be brought round. Not a good or friendly experience More

Wheels lock with no hope I purchased my VW Passat from another dealership with two set of tires (Winter and Summer). This winter I was swapping them and damaged my locking lug I purchased my VW Passat from another dealership with two set of tires (Winter and Summer). This winter I was swapping them and damaged my locking lug key and that is when the adventure began. I visited my original dealership and after 3 hour and a bill they did little to help me resolve the issue. I called around and Northland service immediately said come in and we will help. The first visit they spent a hour and removed one lug but the keys they had did not do the job so they told me to call back in 2 days and ordered 2 new keys. I came back the following Friday and they worked on the car for another 3 hours with many techs and no luck then that is when Ivan stepped in to help. He was working with the mechanics in the back ground and already had a plan to resolve my issue and asked me to come back in a couple days .....no bill at all yet. So I returned the following week and Ivan had ordered the right tool to get the job done and after another 3 hours they remove the damage lug nuts and I did not have to get them drilled out. Ivan ensured that his team would resolve this issue, supported them till it was complete and gave them the tools they needed to do the job properly. Also his attention to detail, customer service, commitment to resolve my issues was outstanding. Now I spent allot of time in the waiting room, Ivan and his team were extremely busy resolving much bigger issues but he always gave me updates on the progress (good and bad). He leadserhsip in the service department has trickled down to his entire team and I have would highly recommend this service shop to any VW owner. His amazing customer service has made me look for a new VW SUV from Northland in 2017. Keep up the good work Ivan and the team More

Oliver went above and beyond and was able to procure the new car I wanted (VW Golf SportWagen) in the specific colour I wanted (red). I LOVE the fact that it’s red. I had to look at my documentation to discover who had helped me, because her wonderful customer service was immediately noticeable. More
Checking out a used car for my son I own a 2013 Touareg, bought from and regularly serviced at Northland. Recently asked them to check out a 2012 Jetta that my son was purchasing. Dan booked the car in for a mechanical inspection. All around, a very good experience, and the car checked out okay. Non-responsive, was lied to, inexperience service rep - They never wash your car when you get it serviced. They offer you a raincheck but that means you have to go back and wait. Every time the service rep calls informing you that your car is finished, you will tell you "your car is just in line to get washed"....3 hours later, it still is not washed. - Waited over 20 minutes for a financial adviser to show them the bubbles on my stone shield. He told me he would call me to get it fixed. It's been over a month and no call. - Went to get my battery replaced. Engine light came on, these issues were more than likely related. Common sense would be to check the battery and replace it if it's no good and then see if the engine light turns off. But no, they charged me for checking the battery and checking the engine light. The diagnosis on the engine light was "...there wasn't enough power coming from the battery so the engine light turned on.....". Ok Captain Obvious! The service rep that checked in my car should have know that the Engine light test was likely unnecessary. More

Great Patience with indecisive buyers! I recently considered buying a VW and test drove 2 different vehicles on 2 different occasions with Nikki. She was so friendly and knowledgable, and I recently considered buying a VW and test drove 2 different vehicles on 2 different occasions with Nikki. She was so friendly and knowledgable, and didn't complain about being out in the cold and windy conditions. Oliver was great at laying out the purchase options and was able to beat the best price offered by another dealership. Ultimately, I decided on another brand based on cargo capacity which I needed at the time. Nikki was very understanding and said I'd be welcome back any time I may consider a VW in the future. It's a great dealership! More
