The test drives were great and Harsha provided just the right amount of information but didn't pressure me or attempt to sell me something I didn't want. Harsha also respected my time during pickup (the usual delivery employee, Ron, was running late) and got me on my way quickly (this was almost a direct replacement of my previous lease-return so I appreciated Harsha pragmatically agreeing (but not assuming) I didn't really need to see all the same features over again. Manou in Finance was also great to work with; she remembered us from before (this is our 3rd VW at Northland) and provided a pleasant personal touch during the financial part (which is usually where it gets less enjoyable!). Thank you to both of them! More

I came in looking to buy my first car not really knowing what I wanted, and Matt helped me na I had a really great experience at Northland Volkswagen. I came in looking to buy my first car not really knowing what I wanted, and Matt helped me narrow down the must haves and consider other factors I didn't think of before. He was so patient and professional all the time, followed up with me regularly after the first meeting, and when I finally decided on my car (a different one than what I was first considering) Matt helped me work out a great deal. Guy was also great and explained all the extended care plans and financing afterwards. If you are as nervous or unsure about the whole buying process as I was, then Matt is the salesperson for you. You will come out feeling very comfortable and reassured that you have made the right decision! More

Matt was receptive to private-market pricing that I had found and did not waste my time with petty negotiations or underhanded sales tactics - things I would usually expect from a dealership. The car is in great shape and had almost every feature I was hoping to find. Super positive experience and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new Vee Dub. More
Poor and Slow service I made an appointment to address a recall notice on my 2010 Passat. Apparently there could be sharp pieces of metal that could hit you if your airbag was engaged. When I made the appointment at 11:00 am I was told that it would take approximately one hour. I went to Walmart for the hour and bought some items were perishable and went back within the hour to find that my car was not complete. While in Walmart they phoned me after an half hour and said that my battery was dead. I told them that I had just driven it there and that it was dead as they tell you to leave your car keys in your ignition and that activates the lights which drains your battery. But after I talked to my husband he told me to go ahead and get the new battery. Little did I know that they charged me $69.50 to install a battery that takes 5 minutes to install. They kept me waiting until 1:00 pm which made me late for my next appointment. I had mentioned when I checked in that the spare tire continually makes noise in the back even after tightening several times. He said that he would have the mechanics look at this. That never happened. When I finally received my car i quickly unloaded my groceries and placed the shopping cart along side of their building. As I was getting into my vehicle, a lady from inside Northland Volkswagen started yelling at me to return my cart. I said if you hadn't kept me for an additional hour I would have had time. What has happened to customer service. More
