While I managed to drive it to the dealership, it was clear my car was not w Last week my 2004 Passat had a “Car”diac arrest on a busy downtown road. While I managed to drive it to the dealership, it was clear my car was not well. With the prompt assistance from Jesse in the service department and the combined efforts of the service team, we determined it was time to let go of my Passat. Friday we spent much of the day test driving used VW’s with Matt. Matt displayed solid product knowledge about the different cars we tested. It was clear that the Tiguan was to be our next long term car. Matt not only made sure we could drive the car off the lot the same day, but made an appointment for the Tiguan to have the detailing done this week. It was a pleasure to pick up “Tiggy” today and know that all the minor issues were resolved. Our only complaint was that while VW’s detail team did a good job with the outside of the car, the same attention to detail was not paid to on the inside...obvious spills from the previous owner were missed. Overall, we are very happy with our new car and look forward to the adventures with Tiggy. More

Matt was very helpful with helping me start the process with the settlement on my 2010 TDI golf, this was done with no expectation of purchasing a new vehicle, it was just great customer service! Once I decided on the settlement package Matt was great showing me the options that were available to me. Once I decided on a car the process was smooth and at no time did I feel pressured to take any extras, this was what made my experience so great. I was informed of all the extra add ons that were available but never felt pressure to "sign up" for anything I did not want. The delivery process was excellent, Ron went over everything and we never once felt rushed. More

Price gouging! Recently had an oil-change appointment for my TDI Passat with instructions to top-up the ad-blue (normally checked at oil service intervals) and check Recently had an oil-change appointment for my TDI Passat with instructions to top-up the ad-blue (normally checked at oil service intervals) and check the cabin filter. When I looked at the bill on my way out I noticed the reason the bill (including a cabin air filter) was over $300; it included $65 charge for labor refilling the ad-blue (on top of the charge for the fluid -- and subsequent standard charges for "shop materials.") When asked, service advisor Dan Weber said, "that's the standard charge - 1/2 hour." REALLY? It takes me about 7 to 10 minutes to run into the auto parts place, purchase a jug, fill it up, and throw away the container, so I can assume a trained mechanic can do it in even less time than little old me. When confronted with the question, the look I received from the service advisor said, "Oops, busted! I'll just tow the party line and tell him that's just how things are done." If it takes a mechanic 5 minutes to do an ad-blue fill, and they're paying him or her $50 per hour, they're actually making $730 profit per hour on ad-blue fills. Sound fair? Other than that the rest seemed in line, and I didn't have time to take advantage of the courtesy wash. Maybe it's a good thing -- they might have charged me another half-hour labour??? More
