Overall it was a great first experience! I went in June of 2013 looking to replace my old beater with something more reliable. I wasn't sure what I was looking for when I went in but I came out with with a brand new Nissan Versa Sedan! I brought my father in with me to aid me in this new adventure, we had to haggle a little and was surprised with the deal I got on their First Time Buyers program. I am a full time student and find that my payments and scheduled maintenance have been more than affordable for me. Needless to say the staff was absolutely amazing in finding out what car was for me and didn't push too hard to get me to buy something. I found everyone to be extremely friendly and I got a great deal on my new car in the end. I continue to receive wonderful service from the sales staff and also the parts staff. It really feels like family whenever I bring my car in for its service. And they are more than happy to answer all my questions. My dad liked my car so much he decided he wanted a Juke for his next car. Needless to say he just bought one and we had an amazing experience all over again. Arlynne is amazing and we bonded with her while signing contracts. I would recommend Northland Nissan to anyone and everyone. We had been to several dealerships but no one had treated us quite like that do at Nissan. :) More

I came in with a very specific budget and no type of car in mind. Both Jamie and Peter were AMAZING in finding my Nissan Rogue which I am very happy about! After 20 years of driving the same vehicle it was time for a new ride. I chose to purchase the Rogue and Tyson was my salesperson, he sure did have that old time GREAT customer service, very polite, court for a new ride. He took me through the whole process with such ease. I have been recommending him to all my friends, this is the experience you want when making such a purchase. It was time to upgrade our older Nissan Xterra. After a good look around at other SUV's and Crossovers, we decided on a 2014 Xterra Pro-4x. In our opinion, this vehicle is hands down the best for country good look around at other SUV's and Crossovers, we decided on a 2014 Xterra Pro-4x. In our opinion, this vehicle is hands down the best for country living and an active lifestyle with kids, dog and gear. The upgrades on the 2014 make this vehicle top notch! Shawn at Northland gave us a very fair trade in for our old truck and he and Jaimie were responsive to our needs and worked with us on a variety of negotiations before the deal was done. We felt well taken care of and were happy with our purchase price. That said, we were hoping for 0% financing and ended up with 3.99%. We were also hoping for a larger discount off the MRSP. In the end the factory rebate of $2000 and a more than fair trade in price for our old vehicle made up for that. We also understand that the Pro-4x is a popular vehicle at the moment...not the best time to get a great deal :) There were no hidden costs or surprises which we appreciated. Within a week our new truck was sitting in their lot and was exactly what we asked for!! Our experience at the dealership was friendly, efficient, and covered all the bases. Holly went through all the details of our purchase and waranty info. We were impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. We even got some tips on a few trips to take near her home town of Kitimat. Thanks Holly! We are super excited with our new truck and would highly recommend the dealership! More
We were very pleased with the service that we received from the staff that helped us. We had a bit of a wait for everything to go thru as we are from out of town. Which pretty much had us sold on the Nissan Rogue=) We are very happy and are enjoying our new car!!!! Jared you got us an incredible deal on the car at an awesome rate that we can afford!!!And at last but not least Peter...who kept us laughing=) what a small world we live in=) Oh and thank you Holly, you did a wonder full job with the paper work and answering all and I mean all our questions!!! When I went in looking for my new vehicle, I did all my homework on the model I wanted. Good thing. When we were negotiating on a price, I was only informed of $2000.00 in factory rebates, when in fact, th homework on the model I wanted. Good thing. When we were negotiating on a price, I was only informed of $2000.00 in factory rebates, when in fact, there was $4000.00 being advertised on www.nissan.ca. When I mentioned the $4000.00 rebate and said I wanted to renegotiate, the truck was sold that morning (I can't be sure if it actually was, as it was at an another dealership out of town, and they were going to bring it in for me). My only other options were two other tucks out east, or one on the lot. The one on the lot was way out of my price range, (MSRP $37,000.00, and I came in with a budget of $28,000.00 to $29,000.00, before fees and taxes), so they brought the price down to $34,00.00 (before tax), which was still too high. I showed interest in a truck from out east, and they began to come lower in price on the one on the lot. We agreed at $29,240.00 ($33,000.00 after taxes and fees). After the negotiations (which took two days in the dealership), things ran smoothly, and still do to this day. Moral of the story: do your homework, do NOT take the first price they throw at you. It took a lot of numbers and discussion back and forth, but we finally got to a price that I was satisfied with. After purchasing my truck, service is top notch. I gave the quality of work rating a 3/5 because the guys I dealt with, Zach and Jared, were very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to/ deal with. The only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of rebates I was getting, as I said earlier in the review, Nissan was offering $4000.00 when during the negotiations there was only $2000.00 being offered. That almost was a deal breaker. After we straightened that out, though, things went smooth. Price got a 5/5 only because I had to haggle for it. Don't settle on the first price they throw at you, if there's wiggle room for them, there's definitely wiggle room for you. I recommend Northland Nissan, only if you know what you want when you go in there, and you do some research, as it could save you thousands. More
