I recently took my 2015 van to another dealer to address a problem with the right rear fold down seat. The service they provided was limited and they told me I needed a $798 seat. North Bay Toyota was contacted because I was visiting for the week. They not only worked me into their schedule on short notice but they also replaced the broken handle for a total charge of $318.90. Couple that with the excellent sales experience I had buying my 2011 van at North Bay Toyota, I will not be buying my next vehicle at point A, it will be at North Bay Toyota. More

I always took my car to them for service and received great service, but I didn't know other dealerships didn't offer the same quality of service until once, long ago, I decided to purchase a vehicle from another dealer in town. I was so disappointed, not with the vehicle, but with the service at that other dealership, that as soon it was time for another vehicle I went back to North Bay Toyota and have been very satisfied with the service ever since. These guys take care of my car, they recommend maintenance and let me know when my car doesn't need certain maintenance items done. The people are always pleasant, which makes it nice to go in to the dealership. I have recommended these guys to other friends and family. More
My experience was great. They were helpful, quick and very I dropped my car off in the morning and everyone was smiling and friendly. Terrible service!!!! We purchased the vehicle at the N. Bay dealership at the very end of August 2018. (A 2014 Tundra with 52,000 km). My son brought it in for an oil chan We purchased the vehicle at the N. Bay dealership at the very end of August 2018. (A 2014 Tundra with 52,000 km). My son brought it in for an oil change and tire rotation which we were told was included in our purchased and expensive extended warranty. It wasn’t. Possibly a miscommunication. During the tire rotation they stripped the lock bolts on all four tires and did not replace them. Also after less than 8000 km we were told that the break pads were in need of replacing “very soon, especially the rear which were less than 20% remaining”! In previous years with my 4Runner I generally got 5-6 years or more out of a set of brake pads. As far as I’m concerned the brakes BARELY PASSED it’s pre-purchase inspection. Or they knew they’d be able to stiff us on our first oil change and inspection. The new tires on the other hand are not worn 1/32”. Sad, very sad! More

Bad communication Car went in for a recall repair. They were also asked to check rear trunk for rust behind chrome trim. Rust could not be seen, but trim was stained. When checking out the check was never mentioned so I had to ask. Service desk person then read the notes but couldn't understand them. She asked the check in person who confirmed they needed to take a picture of my signed ownership. So when asked where my car was so I could get the ownership I was pointed to the front lot. Walked the front, side and back lots only to discover it was still inside the building. After the picture was taken, again I had to ask the process. She remarked the rust must have been bubbling for some time, asked me for how long. Again I had to point out the rust was not visible, only that we noticed the stain on the chrome. Was then told the process could take a few months before we heard anything. Not really impressed, last time we tried to claim a warranty was for the extra warranty we purchased on paint finish. Lost the finish in the first three years. Took nine months and a call to Toyota Canada to get an answer. They decided not to honour the warranty, no real reason given. So not holding our breath this time, wonder if we'll ever hear from them. More
2016 toyota rav 4 I have no issue with the people in the service department-they are always courteous and professional. However, I do have an issue with my vehicle. My Rav has approximately 38000km on the ODO and I was told I needed to have the front rotors and pads replaced as well as having the rear brakes serviced because of excess wear. The vehicle is not driven aggressively and driving is split 50/50 city/highway. The dealership said the front rotors were rusted and pitted and it was cheaper to replace rather than turn them. Needless to say I was not impressed at such premature brake wear. More
