Put a deposit on a Leaf 3 weeks ago over the phone. I had done some pricing on Car Cost Canada and Unhaggle. The Dealership called me to let me know that they had 5 new Leaf's coming in August. They quoted a price which was slightly over MSRP to witch I agreed. I followed up with numerous emails and calls requesting details in writing. They ignored me so today I had a friend drive me to the Dealer. I asked for a copy of the written agreement and confirmation of delivery date and the BC EV Rebate that changed yesterday. They finally came back with a piece of paper upon which was written a price in excess of $4,000 over our agreed upon price. When I showed them their website that showed the MSRP at $6,000 under what they were trying to tell me was my price today they stated that they could not even purchase at less than MSRP!!!! I asked for a refund of my deposit and walked, but in retrospect, I should have left it just in case Nissan Canada would like to correct this injustice!!! More
