Very disappointing experience with Nissan. I purchased this vehicle with only 10,000 km on it, expecting reliability, but within just 2 years I had to replace rotors, brake pads, wipers, front I purchased this vehicle with only 10,000 km on it, expecting reliability, but within just 2 years I had to replace rotors, brake pads, wipers, front headlight, and the battery. By the 3rd year, even the alternator failed. This level of failure at such low mileage is completely unacceptable. When I raised my concerns, the dealership response was that this is “normal,” which is honestly shocking. There is nothing normal about replacing so many parts on a low-mileage vehicle. Very poor quality and disappointing customer service. I would not recommend. More

EXCEPTIONAL! I was stranded in Newmarket on route up north for the long weekend. My wheel bearing went, and my car was leaking transmission fluid. I walked into Newmarket Nissan, off the street, Friday morning of a long weekend, no prior relationship and was treated like Royalty! My needs were tended to, we had a plan for my car, and I was off within a few hours in a rental arranged by Bree in the service dept. She is an AMAZING, caring and exceptional customer service rep. Her attention to myself and my car were great, she went above and beyond to help me and get me on the road again!! I left in a rental, that Bree arranged and she followed up with me after the long weekend and informed me the update status and repairs on my car. Although disappointed that Nissan Canada did NOT stand up to the Extended Warranty that I purchased a year ago when I bought my NIssan Versa, no fault of Bree who went above and beyond to try and get my repairs under the extended warranty. I would go back to Nissan Newmarket for any new car purchases, but would really consider the price of the Extended warranty and what is actually covers. Thanks again Bree for all the you did for me! Brought my Nissan Sentra here in May due to the transmission slipping. They said luckily I had some time left on the warranty due to a widespread cvt issue. They said there was no issue with it and transmission slipping. They said luckily I had some time left on the warranty due to a widespread cvt issue. They said there was no issue with it and charged me approx $400 and said it wasn’t a warranty covered item and that the transmission was fine. Came back in June with the same issue of the transmission slipping. They said there was no issue and charged me $250 to tighten up an exhaust heat shield and that the transmission was noisy but that was normal and to keep driving. Fast forward to July 10, the car had a complete transmission failure and I brought it to Newmarket Nissan since I was told I had a warranty. Turns out this was false, and they want $7500 to repair it on top of the hundreds I’ve wasted on diagnostic fees that lead nowhere in the past. Don’t bring your car here for service if you want honest advice or proper diagnosis of your car, or value your safety while driving. Contacted Nissan Canada and they refused to help. Will be reporting to better business bureau. More

Sales person David is not pleasant to deal with. His competition, BMW, pre-emptively reached out to me with a trade-in offer for my vehicle (a BMW), which prompted us to contact a variety of deal His competition, BMW, pre-emptively reached out to me with a trade-in offer for my vehicle (a BMW), which prompted us to contact a variety of dealers to assess our interest in replacing this vehicle. After some back and forth, I let David know that BMW had offered us $29k however the vehicle needed rear brakes. David advised us to not complete the brake work, and that he would be in touch with an "appraisal" based on our VIN and pictures. Infiniti then offered us $21k. I expressed how insulting this offer was, given the existing offer from BMW which David was aware. David implied that BMW would be adding that difference to "the car we were buying" without any reason or information whatsoever. We actually hadn't even suggested to BMW any interest in their vehicles- we understand their appraisal was an offer to bring us into the dealer etc. David claims that "he is not young" and that "he knows the car business" which is apparently how he could blindly assess what BMW was going to do. Baselessly attacking your competition's integrity is, in our estimation, a pathetic sales tactic. I have now had a number of back and forth emails with David, in which he seems to have let his emotions get the best of him. If you need an Infiniti, request someone that conducts themselves professionally. Thom More

First Come First Served! I located a truck at Newmarket Nissan I was very interested in buying. I sent them a message online to contact me and On Wednesday night David (last name unknown) returns the message. We briefly discuss the vehicle and make arrangements to book an appointment. I tell him Im an hour and half away but can make arrangements to get there Saturday At 11am. I make arrangements for staff to cover me on the farm and set an uber up to pick up my son from Akido at 12noon. Fill my truck with gas and jump on the 407 toll road to go meet David at my appointment. Im 10 minutues from my appointment and David calls and tells me the truck I was coming to see just sold!. Ok, I get it. They are in the business of selling vehicles, but why would they make an appointment?. Clearly they dont care about relationship building because talking to Dave gave me no advantage and the meaning of an appointment is worthless. I may as well have just showed up and talked to the first sales person hovering in the parking lot. Had they asked or warned me they were going to continue to sell this vehicle and the appointment was meaningless and put a deposit down I would have done that. I was limited on time and had a 3 hour return travel with 407 fees. What do I want from Newmarket Nissan? Absolutely Nothing! They dont stand out from any of the other dealers, made me feel like a putz for thinking they had integrity and wasted my day. Please keep this in mind if you have to buy from Newmarket Nissan.
