New Experiences I have always been a "GM Man" but my recent experience with them left a lot to be desired! As Chance has it while visiting my son in Newmarket I suggested going to a Jeep dealership to just test drive a Jeep. We ventured to McIvers and met Garry McIntaggart upon our arrival. Not only did I test drive and further fall in love with the Wrangler but Garry's great personality, knowledge and attention to us drove me to the grand idea of " eh why not buy now and stop putting it off". Well the rest is now history and I am a proud owner of a Jeep Wrangler thanks to Garry and a fine product. I also would like to thank all the other employees that I met and dealt with during my visits to your dealership as without exception I found them to be courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I look forward to a long and enjoyable relationship with MacIver Dodge and to Chrysler Canada. Thanks again to Garry and MacIver Dodge! An EX-GM MAN" and now a reborn Chrysler Kid! More
Barrie Dealerships, take note! Thank you MacIver Dodge! The first phone call to MacIver Dodge I had a sales representative say "Thank you for calling"! I was amazed at that point. We had been looking for several weeks and was very disappointed with the service in Barrie. I had been to Kia Barrie 3 times, we actually made an appointment to test drive 2 vehicles and the rep didn't bother to show up. I have yet to receive a follow up call from these people. They clearly didn't want to sell me a car. Hyundai didn't seem to care either. We were there twice , still no follow up call. Barrie Chrysler, we were so close to buying and were not impressed with the sales person we decided to see if another Chrysler dealership could provide better service. That's when I called MacIver Dodge and thank goodness we did. Service means alot and these people know how to do it. I will drive to Newmarket for all my service needs and further purchases. I have received emails and follow up calls making sure we are happy with our new purchase. Thank you MacIver Dodge for caring so much about people, for the service you give, for doing your absolute best and going the extra mile to make sure we got what we were looking for. 2014 Jeep Cherokee Purchase Jim Mallinos did a great job. I ordered the 2014 jeep cherokee and it took three months to get delivery. This was surprising. We spent a lot of time researching different vehicles and our original experience at MacIver definitely made our decision where to buy easier once we decided on the vehicle itself. We were very impressed on both occasions we attended and felt very comfortable with Felix and the surroundings. We appreciated his truthfulness and assistance in making that final decision. He tried very hard to get us a price that we were comfortable with and went out of his way to assist in the process. He has been very attentive both in person and on the phone. Never go back again. 2014-06-04 This is the third time I have visited this dealership. The first time I just wanted to ask a question. As soon as I started with I dr 2014-06-04 This is the third time I have visited this dealership. The first time I just wanted to ask a question. As soon as I started with I drive a Fiat 500 I got we don't do warranty work on them here. I didn't get to finish my question and they were telling me no. All I wanted to know was if is they could take a picture of an area where the paint was peeling and email it to Village Chrysler which is located in Ajax for me. The lady shut me down instantly and didn't want to hear what I had to say. I requested the Service Manager and he was able to assist me. The second time I went in to purchase a bulb for my rear brake light. The gentleman on the parts desk was wonderful and had Matt (an apprentice) put the bulb in for me. Matt was very professional and helpful. The third and I might add the last time I went in for an oil change. I was getting a warning light on my instrument panel about my running lights not working. I started to explain about the warning light and instantly was shut down again by one of the women at the service desk and at the same time by a man that was behind the counter also. They started telling me they don't do warranty work in Fiats. I suggested that maybe they should let me finish my question before they said no to me. All I wanted was for the mechanic to confirm that my running lights were working. As I was cashing out I advised them that I would not be back for service at their location and that I just wanted to pay and have my warranty book returned to me. Once again Matt was the one that did the service on my vehicle. He was very professional and helpful. Matt checked my lights with me looking on and we determined that I would have to bring my vehicle to Village Chrysler in Ajax for them to check this issue out for me. More
Amazing service! I was in the McIver service center on two different occasions within the past week. To some having to go in twice would have been ridiculous however u I was in the McIver service center on two different occasions within the past week. To some having to go in twice would have been ridiculous however under my circumstances I'm rather glad I did. I recently bought a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the remote was fried so I bought a new remote and brought the Jeep in to have the remote synced with my vehicle. Upon arrival I was greeted by Jill who was a great help and gave me a lot of information in regards to how long it was going to take and what was going to be done on that visit. She also informed me that there were several recalls on my vehicle that needed to be done. I then spoke to Lynn who brought me the new remote and explained to me that it doesn't seem to be just the remote that is the issue, I asked her if the remote worked, she said yes, and I said that was good enough for me, I don't mind how close I have to be to have it work, just as long as I can get in without the alarm going off. She then helped me pick a time and date that worked best for everyone to get my Jeep in to have the recalls done. Lynn explained to me what the recalls were and how they were very important for my safety, and others on the road, for me to have them done, regardless of how perfectly fine the vehicle seemed. Overall I had a great experience with both Jill and Lynn, both were great help, really friendly, and totally approachable! The guys in the shop did a great job with the remote because even though I was given caution that it may not work all the time, I have never had an issue with it, and I'm happy I had the recalls done to ensure everyone's safety ! More

For my family, we were in need of a new van for our expanding family and have seen and tested various competitor models. My family visited various dealerships and we were met with sales reps who were indifferent, pushy and and sometimes unknowledgeable in what they were selling! From a recommendation of a friend of ours, we visited MacIver to check out a Grand Caravan and boy are we glad. We were introduced to Felix, who was one of the most sincere, easy-going and friendly sales reps that I have ever met. Not one moment did I feel pressured into purchasing a car. He was there to put us in ease and answer all of our questions with patience and humour. He also helped us narrow down our needs for the family and to search out the best model and give us the best deal possible based on the budget that we had. Right there and then, I knew that he was looking out for our best interests and we decided to purchase the van offered that same day based on the awesome deal he gave. What also put this experience over the top was that we received our van earlier than expected! We had wondered that day, after signing the documents, whether we could pickup the van earlier but was told that Monday of next week would be the earliest pick up. A few hours after leaving the dealership, we received a call that it can be picked up the next day! Boy was I shocked! Felix and, I think it was, Debbie went out of their way to see it through. I can see why there are so many positive reviews, and I can too vouch for them as well, and will recommended anyone who's looking for a vehicle to head down to Newmarket and visit MacIver for a great purchasing experience. More
