I am very sorry to hear that your experience here at Motor City Chrysler was anything less than exceptional. At Motor City Chrysler, we really do strive to offer the best customer service possible. As a rule when you come in for an scheduled appointment, the time you are given is to meet with a service adviser to prepare a work order with the proper descriptions for our technicians to work on your vehicle. Your Appointment date reserves time in the shop that day for your concern to be diagnosed and repair if time permits. That said, if any of the jobs in front of you take more time than originally assessed the shop can and does back up, sometimes to the point that an 8am appointment will not get into the shop. It does not happen often but when it does its frustrating for both the customers and the staff as they are very concerned with our customers satisfaction. After all of that and the car has been diagnosed, it is sometimes necessary to order components to complete the work. Which just lengthens the amount of time the vehicle stays in the shop. There are a couple of ways we can counter act this issue though. First off we would be happy to pick up and drop off the vehicle to when work is needed. This will save you some of the aggravation associated with the process. Secondly if needed we can book the appointment so that a "loaner" vehicle is here for you when you come in for service. That way if there are any delays you can still get around. Finally I would just like to once again apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you and I hope that this explanation will encourage you to give us a chance to show you that Motor City Service is second to none.
