Disorganized and poor service I had an appointment at 9:30 a.m. for which I arrived ten minutes early. I was told that the car would not be looked at right away and that I would h I had an appointment at 9:30 a.m. for which I arrived ten minutes early. I was told that the car would not be looked at right away and that I would have to leave it. I was prepared to wait for the car to be serviced, but apparently that is not how it works. I was told that it is like making an appointment with a doctor, that the service counter was the receptionist and an appointment is made and then the car is looked at later. (I was actually told that). Then what is the purpose of making an appointment at 9:30 a.m. Why do you make appointments for service and then have to leave the car. I had to cancel a noon appointment because I had no car. I received a call about 11:15 a.m. indicating that the problem had been identified and the cost would be $365 plus tax (the original quote was $119), but for additional $119 plus tax, they could insure that the problem did not occur again. I looked upon this as an attempt to up sell, and why did this problem need additional attention and money thrown at it in the first place. Makes me wonder about the quality of the car. I was called at 2:05 p.m. to indicate the car was ready and my address was confirmed, but it took over an hour to be picked up. I live about 15 to 20 minutes from the dealership. When I arrived in the service department, there was no one at the counter. I went inside and a customer told me that the service guy would be right back, he was getting his car from the lot. Back to the service dept. and another person came out and asked to help and I gave my name. The service order was found and she said Walter and Bridget Scheuerman. I informed her that my husband had died six years ago. I purchased this car three years ago and yet my husband's name is on the records for Motor City Chrysler. This was very upsetting. I was then led inside to pay and I asked where my car was located. The receptionist told me along the side by the Service department. Well it was not. I had to search the parking lot and finally located my car. No one offered to go and get my car. When I got home I looked at the name on the service order and it states Water and Mr. Bridget Scheuerman. It is my understanding that the name has been adjusted. Lousy experience, poor quality of service and I am not sure that my car is any the better for the service. It is three years old and has only 31,966 kms and lights are going off. In addition to that there is a recall on this car for passenger side air bags for which I am apparently waiting for a part, but Mr. Leclair said he would check on that and I did not get any feedback on that issue at all. More

A service item that needed immediate attention I had a slight transmission leak at the pan on my 2015 Journey. Upon intial intake review, I was informed that the next appointment period was severa I had a slight transmission leak at the pan on my 2015 Journey. Upon intial intake review, I was informed that the next appointment period was several days beyond a trip I had planned. I was immediately referred to Tom D., the assistant service manager, who made arrangements to physically look at the problem two days hence, on a Saturday morning, when the shop was not open for business. This took place on his own time. The problem was diagnosed and an appointment early the next week say the problem fixed and I was on the road in plenty of time. This is above and beyond normal service practices and indicates a willingness to work with the client to solve problems, even at the expense of their time off. Well done. My next new product will come from that dealership and all of my service will now go there. Wayne B More

fast and easy process I went in not knowing what to expect, with it being my first time buying from an actual dealership. With my family growing, We knew we needed a van, b I went in not knowing what to expect, with it being my first time buying from an actual dealership. With my family growing, We knew we needed a van, but didn't know anything much more than that. Randi took it upon herself to make me feel as comfortable as possible. She went through the ins and outs of all the years and models, and finally we made our decision on the caravan. We couldn't be more happy with our decision. She also extended her pleasure to answer any questions we may have. She didn't once make us feel pressured and I can say we are beyond happy with our purchase and have already recommended Randi at Motor City to a few of our friends. More
