We also got a trade in amount for our old van that we were happy with. When we picked up the van a couple days later, it looked fabulous. We have recommended Theo Motors to friends, and plan to use them for future repairs, and sales. More
False Promises & Poor After-Sales Service As a recent first time customer at Theo Motors, I purchased my 2010 BMW 328i X-Drive in late March 2014. The initial process proved to be a typical, s As a recent first time customer at Theo Motors, I purchased my 2010 BMW 328i X-Drive in late March 2014. The initial process proved to be a typical, standard sales process, assisted with the help of Theo Motor’s former Sales Representative, Jeff Schlueter. Having over 30 years of experience within the automotive sales sector, Jeff was fairly knowledgeable on the number of 3-Series vehicles available at the time, and provided great communication effort when it came to answering any questions or providing requested information – a nice and down to earth guy. For paperwork and financing on the vehicle, I was introduced to the owner, Raj Nakra. Initial correspondence with Raj conveyed the impression of a commonplace sales representative, as a sense of urgency and slight pressure was perceived during our negotiation. While Raj stood firmly on the initial list price, we were able to negotiate a few hundred dollars ($400 off the initial price, contingent that I finance a minimum of $7,500 instead of paying for the car in full – ‘kickback’ on his end), as well as a number of items that would be included within/addition to the standard administrative and vehicle preparation fees that customers are charged. Items which were agreed upon during purchase of the vehicle included: •Vehicle would be delivered within a month’s time to my home address by one of Raj’s drivers •Car would be detailed on the interior and exterior (including buffing and polishing a number of large exterior scratches, as well as interior wood trim scratches) •The vehicle would be taken to the local BMW dealership for servicing of warning signs whick were present during the test-drive (all of which would be “covered under the car’s remaining warranty”) •Oil change •Window tinting (additional cost) •Spare key (additional cost) Up until this stage, I was fairly confident that I had found myself a reasonable deal, and that I would be delivered a fair product and service as was agreed to. To my surprise, I was highly unimpressed with the vehicle when it was delivered late April. With a quick walkthrough, I was able to notice that there had been an attempt to cover exterior scratches using an excessive amount of touch-up paint, while I was led to believe that they would be professionally buffed and polished. I reasonably understood that not all scratches could be thoroughly removed, but it was quite self-evident that there was a lack of care in delivering what was agreed upon with both Jeff and Raj (same goes for interior wood scratches, which had been virtually left untouched). In addition, the interior was also inadequately prepped as there were highly visible coffee spills and stains found throughout the car, along with a missing passenger-side floor mat which had been removed during ‘cleaning’. I was able to follow up with Raj, and as a ‘courtesy’, he offered to: complete an interior detailing if I was ever in the area (I live an hour out of Kitchener), and second, he would be able to replace the missing passenger floor mat. While he was able to deliver on the floor mat, at this point, I felt the administrative and cleaning fees had not served me well, and that I was undersold on my new purchase. The ultimate frustration however, was yet to come. Upon having the car for only a mere week or two after it was delivered, I began experiencing several problems, including: an unusual rough-idle, right headlight turn signal not working (an intermittent issue), and as of recently, an issue with my air-bag system (air-bag warning lamp coming on). With the understanding that the vehicle had additional warranty remaining on it (outside of the standard factory warranty), I took the car into my local BMW dealership only to find out the vehicle had no warranty reaming (a lesson for me, as I should have been more due diligent in verifying with BMW North America, rather than take the Sales Representative’s word for it). Disheartened that I was led to believe the car had remaining warranty, I followed up with Raj and was told that unfortunately there is nothing he can do. I was simply told that there is no way one of his Sales Representative would mislead me on information regarding vehicle warranty, and that I may have misunderstood. In response, I offered to forward Raj email communication between Jeff and myself whom clearly stated that the vehicle had warranty remaining until December 2014. I had received the same response during our test drive, and was reassured that all mechanical servicing will be covered under BMW warranty. At this point, and with full acknowledgement, Raj had no response but to shrug off the matter with a ‘keep in touch’ response. It’s become quite discouraging over the past few weeks having to deal with Raj Nakra and Theo Motors, as I was hoping to come to a mutual agreement that would be fair for both parties. I think it would only be fair if the problematic issues were resolved, or, I were to be reimbursed for any out-of-pocket repairs at my local BMW dealership. Unfortunately, I myself will likely be shelling out an additional thousands of dollars to repair what I thought would be covered under an existing warranty – especially for basic vehicle safety features, which jeopardize the safety of not only myself, but my passengers, as well as anyone else out on the road. I feel that I have been taken advantage of in this sale, as Raj is well aware of my inability to drive into the Kitchener area problem after problem. Overall, while the initial sales process may have been fairly painless, the after-sales process has not. I am saddened that I was provided with misinformation and false promises, and feel that I have overpaid for what I purchased. It also disappoints me that I have had to resort to writing this negative review for Theo Motors, and that I am no longer able to recommend this car dealership to friends and family. I hope this lengthy feedback is of benefit to anyone else who may be looking to purchase from Theo Motors in the future, and hopefully, can prevent you from falling into the pitfalls that I have during this process. More

She noticed a remarkably clean 2011 mazdaspeed 3 parked in the front lineup along with many other impressive vehicles. We pulled in and took a look at the mazda. We had much time to look at the vehicle and discuss our options. We finally decided to speak with one of the salesman. Amit was very understanding and easygoing. He insisted that we take the car for a test drive. We were immediately impressed! We returned to the dealership and Amit referred us to speak with Raj for further information and details. Raj was very friendly, informative and helpful! All of our questions and concerns were answered accurately and professionally. We took a couple days to think it over without any pressure from the dealer. We then gave Raj the green light to finalize our purchase choice. All matters were handled with precision and Raj made some impressive connections and got us a great financing deal! They had the vehicle ready for delivery within 2 days. We are now proud owners of a 2011 mazdaspeed 3 PURCHASED through the friendly, impressive, professional and caring Theo motors of Kitchener On. We were happy to be able to work with Damien Lorefice who was friendly, knowledgeable and very honest. Damien did everything to make us feel comfortable and was very patient and did not pressure us at all. It is evident that Theo Motors cares deeply about customer satisfaction as we were constantly asked if there were any problems they could help out with. Damien encouraged us to let him know if anything about the car was amiss and was concerned about every minor detail we pointed out. We were having no luck with the car dealers we tried. A young woman shopping for a car does not always get treated as a man would. Theo Motors was very pleasant and straightforward. The price was fair. We took the car to our regular mechanic the morning after we purchased it and he could find nothing that needed fixing. Even better, the things that Theo Motors promised to repair or replace were actually done. They are trustworthy! Yeah! We are very happy customers and are telling all our friends. We would highly recommend them. More

Amit greeted me with courtesy and professionalism, answered all my questions and immediately set me up to test drive the vehicles I was interested in. After the test drives, I decided on the vehicle I wanted and Raj came over to help me finalize the purchase. Overall, it was a very pleasant buying experience. These guys do business the good, old fashioned way - honest and with integrity. And if they say they will do something, they will (although it is always good business practice to have everything that was agreed written down on paper). At the conclusion of the sale, the vehicle was delivered to me fully detailed. More
