Jason really helped me make a decision I was researching the GL models in 2014. I had never owned a Mercedes Benz vehicle previously. My wife and I had visited another dealership and came I was researching the GL models in 2014. I had never owned a Mercedes Benz vehicle previously. My wife and I had visited another dealership and came away feeling like we didn’t belong in this exclusive club. Jason was so different. I had read about an emergency handling issue with the GL that I needed to understand and resolve for myself that had been treated dismissively at the previous dealership. He listened, did his own homework and arranged to take me for a test drive to a large unused paved area on which we could practice the maneuver that I had read about. He drove at my reqest and was able to replicate the exact understeer issue that I had read about. He was candid and did not try to dismiss or gloss over the vehicle’s performance but did help me put it into context. He allowed me to assess personally the likelihood of this issue ever presenting an risk that threatened my safety of that of anyone else in the vehicle. I was totally impresssed and would recommend Jason without hesitation to any friend or family member. I bought the GL. I was less impressed by the receptionist who seemed like she was doing us a favour by taking her time to speak to us. It was this attitude that had caused us to abandon the previous dealership. She is the reason I only gave four stars to the dealership. More

Lack of attention to detail, ignores specific instructions I've been a customer of this location for 6 years and have noticed a MAJOR decline in the service department since a change in ownership/mangement. I I've been a customer of this location for 6 years and have noticed a MAJOR decline in the service department since a change in ownership/mangement. I will be switching to Mercedes Thornhill (a Mercedes corporately owned location) Ask: find oil leak at rear of engine, leaking onto exhaust Response: nothing found Consequence: repeat service visit; another dealer immediately found and repaired a major oil leak from line at rear of engine Ask: check alternator performance & replace while drive belt is already off if necessary Response: not completed Consequence: alternator failed 3 months later; towed in from roadside; repeat service visit; additional labour to remove drive belt again Ask: replace failed alternator, not generating any current as already tested Response: $250 diagnostic fee Consequence: surprise, failed alternator; included some but not all of diagnostic fee in repair labour (paid $586 labour for job that other dealer quoted $400-480 labour) Ask: order new alternator asap this am (Thurs) because I need the car back for the weekend Response: finally ordered part Friday PM Consequence: car not ready until Mon/Tues next week; had to pay extra $150 for car rental + extra trip to/from rental shop Ask: check for power steering fluid leaking from line below reservoir Response: Didn't check - had to speak directly to mechanic at end of day who found the leak exactly where I had indicated Consequence: ran out of time to repair; repeat service visit required Ask: Appointment for simple snow tire swap (already on rims) - "customer will wait" Consequence: took over 2 hours on multiple occasions - 50% more expensive and 2X the wait vs local tire shop Very reluctant to take accountability - had to push hard to escalate to service mgr to fix a problem with the door handle that wasn't present when I dropped the car off Inability to advocate with Mercedes Corporate for an obvious quality issue on the car - told I'd have better luck if I contacted Mercedes myself No capacity to look at car on two occasions I had to have it towed in (treated like 2nd class citizen b/c I didn't have an appointment). Tow-ins are expected and dealers should reserve some service capacity. Consequence: car sat for 3-4 days on both occasions while I racked up car rental charges More

With the idea to replace my existing Car with a For Mercedes Benz auto . Jason was so professional and knowledge that making that descision was smooth and easy . I return recently to see Jason for the replacement of my wife Cadillac SUV . My wife also decide to move into Mercedes’s SUV . Thank you Jasson , keep the good work David J . More
