My “Check Engine Light” recently illuminated on the instrument panel of my Mercedes Sprinter 2500 - at startup. I was scheduled to leave town on an extended four-week road trip within a week, and I was instrument panel of my Mercedes Sprinter 2500 - at startup. I was scheduled to leave town on an extended four-week road trip within a week, and I was anxious about resolving whatever the issue was beforehand. So I called Nancy. Nancy C. is a Senior Service Representative and Advisor at Mercedes-Benz Langley. She has often served as a trusted and knowledgeable intermediary whenever I required access to Mercedes-Benz Langley’s service expertise. Over the years, I have learned that the Service Department of Mercedes-Benz Langley is often busy enough that one cannot always be assured of securing a short-notice service appointment. On occasion, I have come to depend on Nancy - should the issue be emergent and time-sensitive enough to justify such a request. I informed her of the circumstances, and she asked that I bring my Sprinter in as soon as possible - that it might be assessed. Once on the road, I found the issue with the Sprinter was significant enough that the Engine Control Unit put the vehicle into ‘Limp Mode’ - restricting my power and speed to ride-on lawnmower-like performance. It took me almost an hour to make my way to Mercedes Langley service Department. Nancy subsequently advised me that they had the parts required for the repair in stock. She advised me on the selection of those things I might choose to fix now, and those things that could be done at later date - and that they could have the vehicle ready for pickup in time for my planned trip. Five stars for the quality of customer service offered by Nancy and those who ensured I was able to be safely on my way - and on time. More
It was a pleasure doing business with Kenshin Zhu this past weekend to purchase my new vehicle. Left three messages Friday. Check engine warning on. No call back. Called today, Tuesday, from Whitehorse. Couldn’t tell me why they hadn’t called back nor could they offer any Check engine warning on. No call back. Called today, Tuesday, from Whitehorse. Couldn’t tell me why they hadn’t called back nor could they offer any helpful advice. This is not ok. I expect more when I’m driving a $150,000 sprinter. I’ll go to a doctor fferent dealership for service next time. More
Service Deportment are such a “deceiving scammy people” They deceive me to bring my car because of a Brake component recall, then they claim that wasn't the problem? Then did not give me any advice of what could potentially be until I complain, then I agree to certain service, but they forgot to bleed the brake line on one side of the car, and my caliper cease, I complain but they did not return my call. Dont go to Mercedes dealership Langley. Melanie the service advisor is a rude horrible narcissist careless person. Any other mechanic service advisor on a regular shop, will give you their best safety advice because of the importance of brake failure but no her, only if I agree to pay hundreds of dollars more. An extremely distressing and disappointing experience purchasing a 2016 Ford Transit Connect from Mercedes-Benz Langley. As a young woman financing her first vehicle, I felt initially Mercedes-Benz to be purchasing a 2016 Ford Transit Connect from Mercedes-Benz Langley. As a young woman financing her first vehicle, I felt initially Mercedes-Benz to be a reliable and trustworthy dealership, however, it was not two months of owning this vehicle that three of the coolant hoses developed extreme leaks requiring urgent and very expensive repairs due to difficulty in accessing the hoses. In addition, the upper strut mount FELL off the vehicle once lifted up in the shop, and was also found to have damage to the ball joint boot and several electrical issues within the cab despite the satisfactory looking inspection report from Mercedes-Benz mechanics. It is outrageous and morally unkempt for such a well-established dealership to be handing out vehicles in this quality of repair to young individuals still building their financial equity. I feel both taken advantage of and scammed and I will never be recommending this dealership in the future. More
My experience has been both good and bad. I received much better service several years ago.
