He listened to precisely what we wanted and we got it without any question. They were willing to accommodate our requests with no hesitation and we sincerely appreciated every bit of it. Hope to do business with them in the future Right up front, I did NOT buy the vehicle I was looking at this morning from them. But I would still recommend to others that they give this place a t Right up front, I did NOT buy the vehicle I was looking at this morning from them. But I would still recommend to others that they give this place a try. If circumstances are different in the future, I would definitely go back and consider buying from them at some point in the future. Main reasons - I walked in off the street with the intent of seeing/driving a specific used vehicle they had in their inventory. No intention to buy today - which I told them up front. Still, Lax worked hard to answer my questions and do their best to try and get me to buy, without giving me the sense of too much pressure. For example, the vehicle was actually at a different location as it had just come in. But he found it, got it ready and got me over for a test drive. He did pull both carproof and service records and went through these with me. He did get their service dept to run through my current vehicle to assess trade-in value as I asked, just so I would have "full information" as I did my research. He did ask for a "price to get me to buy today" which I was reluctant to do. I feel like, if I had declined he would not have pressed. I did give them a number and it just didn't work out. There was some back and forth, including a conversation with his sales manager Oscar - all very civil, without putting me under undue pressure. Even though it ultimately did not work out, I left with the feeling that they would welcome me back. Certainly no hard feelings on my part - hopefully same for them. More
