Safety I think trust is very important especially when you buy a product or service. I bought a van at mcphillips Toyota; the agent told me the 2nd row seats I think trust is very important especially when you buy a product or service. I bought a van at mcphillips Toyota; the agent told me the 2nd row seats were removed when the van was cleaned. I trusted him knowing it would be reinstalled back. I did not inspect the van before i made the final payment as i trusted him. Unfortunately when it was delivered to my mechanic, the seats were not there. I asked the agent and he said he will ask the service Dept. He came back snd said the van doesn’t really have second row seats. I made a complaint and he used the as is payment condition. I have all of his txt messages that will prove this unfortunate experience. So think twice before you deal with this dealer. I bought a car previously at crown dealership and i can tell you that what they say and put on their reports can be trusted. Mcphillips Toyota is the opposite. Another issue is that the inspection report they provided to me did not reflect all issues to be done. I am not sure if it was a mistake or an intentional omission just to sell the van. One of them was a a hole in the flooring that could potentially kill passengers through smoke suffocation. This is a serious matter and the consumers should be careful before going to this dealer. Mpi is now questioning this dealer re this incident. Imagine bringing your car for a change oil in this dealer, after the service, do you inspect if the filter was replaced? No, bec u trust what they say and put on the report. More
