Had my truck serviced and damage occurred to my truck , they kinda fixed it , but was left with issues ! Truck was in accident , the ordeal to get it fixed and looked after was terrible. I can see the issues if the Leader doesn't care about customers , why would the other departments! More

I purchased my used vehicle in May 21. Over all it has been running well. I took it in the other day for a code check but not completely satisfied. My service advisor informed me they did everything they been running well. I took it in the other day for a code check but not completely satisfied. My service advisor informed me they did everything they could and reset codes but for almost $100 with tax I feel I should have been given a better explanation. My car wouldn't start until the computer reset the day before and I almost had it towed in. That is what will have to be done if this problem continues with the computer. GM mechanics should be able to diagnose and give the customer a better explanation and service writers should be able to explain the issue better. Finally I was quoted $67.50 plus tax for the check by the phone person who booked the appointment. No fuses sensors or anything was repaired. The service writer informed me that I was getting half off of 150 which he said was the usual price. I feel I was slightly overcharged for this service visit. I did not complain about the price as he said they would not charge a diagnostic if the problem persisted but again I can't see why they couldn't give me a better diagnosis as to why it wouldn't start in the first place. This is a 2015 Equinox they were working on and buy now they should know these computers , to be able to tell the customer what happened. It's 2022 and they're still selling equinoxes. I love the vehicle and I hope it continues to run well after this visit without another issue for the time being. More
I am happy with the service and a job well done. I am not happy with the billing method used. I had an oil change and two batteries replaced. My truck was in the shop about an hour and the labour on the bill was over $400. That comes to a labour rate of $400/hour. The method of billing for each job vs billing by the hour is outrageous. More
