“GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND-PART II” On October 19,2016 I wrote a review about Leighton and the help he provided me both before and after I bought my 2016 Cadillac CT6, which I still have On October 19,2016 I wrote a review about Leighton and the help he provided me both before and after I bought my 2016 Cadillac CT6, which I still have and love! Well, I have another story about Leighton which is emblematic of what a great salesperson he is and more importantly what a great person he is. I recently purchased a 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP, not from the dealership but privately, from a car collector in Alberta. Prior to purchasing it I had asked Leighton to help me locate one which I intended to purchase from the dealership. He made enquiries about one in Victoria B.C. for me but I found the car I now own in Alberta. After I decided to buy the Solstice from Alberta, Leighton helped me getting it shipped to the McNaught dealership. He did so even though there was “nothing in it“ for him.No muss or fuss for me. He then had the car safetied and looked after getting it ready for me for when I picked it up. He did so even though there was “nothing in it” for him. Again no muss or fuss for me. I asked him to order me touchup paint (It’s Victory Red) expecting it to take about 10 days to arrive. He knows me all too well and had already ordered it for me even before I asked him for it. Who does that? Leighton Powell, that’s who, someone who is excellent at his job and puts the CUSTOMER FIRST but I wasn’t even a customer of the dealership. He helped me with some stone chips in my windshield and he came to my office to pick up my car, leaving a demo for me to drive when it was ready to be fixed. I didn’t ask him to do so but he insisted. Who does that? Leighton Powell does! The point is, Leighton is the only person to see if you want to buy a car from McNaught, hands down. He will make you feel like you are his only customer and he will GO ABOVE AND BEYOND! As I said in October 2016, Leighton is a true asset to McNaught Cadillac! You simply will not go wrong enlisting his help in purchasing a vehicle and you will appreciate his efforts and honesty! And no, I am not family. More
