Horrible sales people - turned me off BMWs for good! I owned BMW sedans for over 7 years, until I went to this dealer to look at pre-owned 335. The manner in which salesperson dealt with me was horrible, I owned BMW sedans for over 7 years, until I went to this dealer to look at pre-owned 335. The manner in which salesperson dealt with me was horrible, the power seats in the car he had me test drive did not work and the handling of the car made it the most horrible car I test drive during this buying cycle, out of Mercs, Audis, Infinitis etc. He did not take much time to explain vehicle feature or packages, but wanted to start running down numbers on his computer extremely promptly! So yes, I have walked away from BMWs for good after this experience. More
I had very bad experience at this Maranello BMW from buying to service. They kept my vehicle for service all day, did not provide me loaner , and told me it may take all day for oil change, I had to pic buying to service. They kept my vehicle for service all day, did not provide me loaner , and told me it may take all day for oil change, I had to pick my kids from school, and I took time off from work, they do not care how important are you and how you will manage without having vehicle. I won't recommend any body to this place, sales staff is also unprofessional, I bought BMW for my wife and sales person has changed the ownership of my infiniti QX56 by using my RIN number for her too, it was a pissed off experience, I curse myself , why I went their. BMW Maranello are very difficult and arrogant dealership to work with. We bought a fully loaded diesel X5 in 2012. After about a year (~16,000km) we began experiencing a loud rumble from the wheels. Up to work with. We bought a fully loaded diesel X5 in 2012. After about a year (~16,000km) we began experiencing a loud rumble from the wheels. Upon taking it the vehicle in for service, a BMW technician responded with "woah this car was driven hard!". The driver of this car is a 65 year old grandmother, but this didnt presuade the service desk. The car is equipped with Dunlop run flats. The car was corrected for alignment at 10k. After some discussion on what could be done to rectify the solution. The answer we recieved from the dealership was "Just buy another set of tires. Usually people who can afford a car like this have a few other cars and can afford a new set of tire." Well yes we could do that but that's not the point. These tires cost $3000 dollars for a set. But the priciple behind it is these tires are now worn out, the rears feathered at 18k. 18k. Not even the cheapest tires on the market wear out at 18k. I have owned tires that have gone well over 100k. After numerous discussions and numerous visits we have been left with the only option of "just buy new tires" At full price. Avoid Maranello. They are great salespeople. But that's where the satisfaction ends. This is not a dealership that is committed to customer satisfaction. Customer care department is arrogant and unhelpful. Go to Budds in Oakville. BMW in Mississauga or BMW Toronto. Steer clear of Maranello. More
