This make and model is infamous for sensor issues. This vehicle is still under warranty. The disrespectful service employee Michael told me it would be about an hour and a half. After two hours I asked him what was happening. He stated they were doing analysis on my bumper to make sure the paint matched. Yes, you read that correctly, they were implying the bumper was switched out. I have never be so disrespected in my life. They kept the car for 3 days to fix a sensor issue. They are scammers and very sketchy. I wish I knew how terrible VW was before I bought this lemon of a vehicle. I have driven a Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4. I have never had more problems that I have had with this vehicle. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy a VW. Michael is a terrible man who needs to find a job where he does not deal with people. Horrible little human. More

They use tactics you would expect from a shady used car dealer. The advertised prices are great but they also try to hide repaired damage from customers instead of being forthcoming. I was assured the car I bought was accident free and had no body repairs but later found out from my mechanic that it was an accident repair. More
Review for the Purchase of a New 2024 VW GLI. Sales – 5/5 I found the vehicle I liked, contacted the sales department, and Impreet was assigned to my deal. Dealing with Impreet was easy — he Sales – 5/5 I found the vehicle I liked, contacted the sales department, and Impreet was assigned to my deal. Dealing with Impreet was easy — he was professional, understood what I wanted, and knew the product well. We were able to put a deal together fairly quickly without any issues or misunderstandings, which proves he appreciates customers’ time and understands their needs. Highly recommend Impreet to anyone who values time and appreciates honesty. Documentation – 1/5 After the deal was finalized, I had to arrange some paperwork such as insurance, bank details, etc., which I emailed to Arty. I also advised that I wouldn’t be taking any additional insurance or coverage and requested the documentation be prepared so I could stop by, sign ahead of time, and schedule delivery. I did not receive any response via email. I then called several times but was unable to reach Arty, so I had to visit the dealership in person. All I can say is, when we met, I felt a very unfriendly attitude. I get it — if you're not interested in any add-ons, you’re not a good customer since no commission is generated. Delivery – 2/5 The vehicle was set for delivery on a weekday evening. When I arrived and inspected the vehicle, I found a few stone chips, including one on the front driver’s door, along with polishing marks and poor detailing. I notified the delivery person but was told nothing could be done and that someone would contact me the next day. The least I expected was a simple apology — I understand the world isn’t perfect. Keep in mind the vehicle was brand new; if it were used, my expectations would have been much lower. On the positive side, the front license plate holder was not installed, and I was asked if I wanted it installed. So, if you’re someone who prefers side plate holders, your front bumper won’t be drilled automatically. Post-Delivery & Service – 3/5 As promised, I received a call from Domenic the next day. He was very straightforward and professional. I explained the delivery issues and was asked to leave it with him for a resolution. Detailing was not a problem — Domenic told me to bring the vehicle in, which I did, and I have no complaints there. However, the issue with the paint chip on the driver’s door remained. We went back and forth on it. As compensation, I asked Domenic to touch up the chip as best as possible and throw in a set of winter mats. He took the request to his manager and came back with another offer — the dealership had a similar vehicle on the lot and could swap the door. I agreed, with one condition: it must not affect any electrical functions. Spoiler alert — it did. We agreed on a date, and I dropped off the vehicle. A loaner was provided. The door swap was done by a third-party body shop in a timely manner — no complaints there. However, my saga was just beginning. After the swap, I started having issues with the memory seat and mirror functions. I later found out the door came from a lower-trim GLI that didn’t have those features. The issue required multiple visits to the dealership and leaving the car each time. Again, a rental was provided. After several attempts — which included replacing modules, harnesses, and programming — the issues were finally resolved. On at least two occasions, I was told the issue couldn’t be duplicated and the vehicle was ready for pickup. Thankfully, I work nearby and was able to come in and demonstrate the problems myself. Special thanks to Taylor (Warranty Manager), who was very polite and understanding throughout the process. Unfortunately, everything mentioned above took a lot of time — and time equals money. I hope your experience will be smoother than mine. P.S. I requested my service history (work orders) via email from both Taylor and Domenic, and also asked for a follow-up. I received no replies. Once again, I had to visit the dealership in person just to get the paperwork. I genuinely wanted to leave a solid More
I recently had an extremely frustrating experience at this dealership, and I feel compelled to share it in hopes that others don't face the same issues. My sister and I visited to discuss the possibility this dealership, and I feel compelled to share it in hopes that others don't face the same issues. My sister and I visited to discuss the possibility of leasing a car. We were initially greeted by the sales manager, Daniel Angelucci, who then handed us off to another associate, Derek Rose. Derek was very professional and great to work with. I myself made it very clear to him that we were still in the process of sorting some things out and would follow up once we had more information about going forward with any car deal. This was understood at the time. However, during our test drive, we later discovered that Daniel Angelucci had run unauthorized credit checks on both of us without our knowledge or consent. This was never disclosed to us, and we did not sign any forms to authorize such actions. We were completely unaware that behind the scenes, a deal was being made on our behalf. To make matters worse, my sister was asked to make a small deposit, which we were told would be fully refundable if we decided not to move forward with the car. Later that week after deciding not to proceed with the lease we requested our deposit back, only to be threatened with legal action and told that my sister was legally obligated to purchase the car. This created a hostile and uncomfortable environment, which was completely unacceptable. We have repeatedly tried to reach out to resolve this matter amicably, including contacting the general manager, Jim Garofalo but have not received a response. The dealership has refused to refund our deposit, and we are now forced to escalate the issue to the appropriate authorities OMVIC due to the unauthorized credit check and the unprofessional behavior displayed by Mr. Angelucci. I strongly advise others to be cautious when visiting this dealership, as their handling of customers and business practices is deeply concerning. I hope this review serves as a warning to those considering doing business here. More
Horrible experience with this dealer, was given an amount on a trade and they went back on it, offered less. Despite this I decided to put a deposit of a Volkswagen atlas with black rims, arranged pick up da on a trade and they went back on it, offered less. Despite this I decided to put a deposit of a Volkswagen atlas with black rims, arranged pick up date. 1 day before pick up date they call to tell me my vehicle won’t be ready. I ask them why and wasn’t given a straight answer. Someone else from the dealer told me they had sold the vehicle I wanted and were waiting to get the one with black wheels. Finally get my vehicle and find out they didn’t provide all the muddy buddy Matt’s asked for and now at my first service come to find out they never honoured the two free services. I will never ever recommend Maple Volkswagen to anyone. xxxxty service. More
Initial experience with Derek and purchasing a used 2021 Atlas was excellent. Amazing staff, willing to work with us and create a good initial first impression. Fast forward to picking the vehicle up. Due Atlas was excellent. Amazing staff, willing to work with us and create a good initial first impression. Fast forward to picking the vehicle up. Due a cracked windshield they needed some extra time to replace it. Totally understandable. A day and time was agreed upon for pick up. On the day and time agreed upon, that decided to call AT THAT TIME to tell us that the vehicle was not ready. No communication whatsoever and not even an apology as it was an hours drive to get to the dealership. Another day is agreed upon. We confirmed numerous times. My husband arrives. They spend an extortionate amount of time putting in the windshield, only to come out and say that...wait for this one...the rearview mirror wont adhere to the windshield. Ok...this was a first for us but here were are. So they duct tape the rear view mirror to the windshield as we now have to get ANOTHER windshield installed but have to wait a week before doing so. They then come up with the great idea of trying to get us to drive to an independent location for the windshield installation because they don't want to do it in house. Which is really their responsibility. We insisted on going back to the dealership for them to remedy this. Trip number three. My husband arrives at the dealership. Staff were rude, dismissive and downright annoyed that they were there to do their job. 4 hours later, the person in charge of fixing the windshield tells my husband that its no longer his problem from this point on, tosses the keys, and says to take up any issues with the manager. And guess what? The rearview mirror still wasn't adhering properly. This man's name was Iggy. Note to all who care, don't let him touch your vehicle. So. Do not shop here if you value good customer service and quality workmanship or even half decent communication. Horrendous experience. More
