Don't bother reading the bad review of this place because they're totally wrong! They have a tonne of selection and we had an overall GREAT experience. Jaz is one of the most honest and trustworthy salespeople I have ever met. Adam is a great and understanding guy, and very good at what he does, and Scott in finance is a wonderful and helpful guy too. Nightmare purchase, multiple warreny issues not all resolved 2211 Jetta.. It's easier to buy a house than buy a car here. Expect at least four hours of wasted time. I was absolutely enraged after the sale was completed. All I wanted was to buy a car and not get all the friggen games. My agreed cash all in deal quickly ballooned when they told me I had to finance to get the deal they gave me. I financed at a higher price and paid off my loan before the end of the week. The car was not cleaned, (cigarette buts under the seat and in the back of the seat pouch). Burnt out lights right off the lot and failed door locks. I've had this car back for new rear door lock, new horn, cracked body seams that flood water in the car, failed door seals that allow water in the car and now the braked seize and grind. I'm told by the service department that this is normal and is not a warranty issue. the pads are good, but it takes some work and a loud bang to free the brakes in the morning. I'm told this is moisture. Don't they have rain in Germany? Normal? I've never had a car do this in my life and I've owned and driven many different cars. The first time I went for service they sent me to a car rental for a courtesy car where the rental guy wanted to start charging me on things and wouldn't let me rent a car unless he upsold me. Service was always days longer then said and inconvenient. I would never buy a Volkswagen again, and if for some reason I would, you can bet it wouldn't be at Maple ridge VW. He was friendly, funny and not creepy like some car salesman. He even called the next day to check up on me and make sure everything was good :) I got really good money for my trade-in as well. Thanks to Lorne for pushing his boss to make that happen! Scott and Ben in finance did a great job working the phones and getting me approved. My interest actually went down 1% and I managed to get the loan fully in my name, no co-signer needed! All in all, this was a great experience. Everyone I talked to there was friendly and helpful. I would recommend Maple Ridge VW to anyone. More
