I had a terrible experience in this dealership. It is like a nightmare since I bought a 2019 GMC Terrain at this place on November 19, 2022, with a water leak issue and with their promise to fix th It is like a nightmare since I bought a 2019 GMC Terrain at this place on November 19, 2022, with a water leak issue and with their promise to fix the issue ASAP. Today is January 30, 2023, and I still have the same issue with my car. I made several appointments with them and took the vehicle there 4 times already for the service and in all the appointments after 1 or 2 days with my vehicle and causing problems to me because I live about 35km from them and it's not easy for me to keep going there, they just returned the vehicle to me with no fix at all. Extra Fees: The vehicle was overpriced and they included many dealer fees that I haven't asked for during the negotiation and which they did not mention anytime. After some research I found the following: "The only required fees are sales taxes, the battery levy of five dollars and the tire levy of three to five dollars per tire depending on the size of your vehicle" There are lots of websites and videos on YouTube explaining those extra fees, and I'm sure Maple Ridge Volkswagen knows about that. Here is a list of extra fees they charged: - Anti-theft fee ($305.00) - Dealer prep fee ($380.00) - Finance placement fee ($295.00) - Doc fee ($697.00) Total with extra fees: $ 1677.00 Please do your own research and you will verify that none of those fees are required when buying a vehicle and that dealers apply them to make more money. Extended Warranty: I didn't want to buy extended warranty to the vehicle but Kam Golbaz said that if I add the extended warranty, I could lower the interest rate and at the end the warranty would be free because of the much lower rate. Completely untrue! I did my research and verified that simply does not exist and at the end I got a very high rate + extended warranty of $3,396.34, which I asked to remove later after my research. I'm extremely disappointed with this purchase. I never saw that way of doing business before. They look friendly before taking your money but after that, they just don't care. Please, if you value your money, don't buy your next car at this place. I don't recommend this dealership at all. More

Dishonest about pricing. That's not the issue, the issue I have is the salesperson blatantly lying to me end telling me there is no way the price of the used one is higher than the MSRP of the new one, he then goes on to tell me who would buy used if it's higher than the new cost...EXACTLY. This person was either flat-out lying or had no idea this was the case, that begs the question, why is this person even selling cars if he knows nothing of the product being sold? He then goes inside, where he claims were to verify my claims, which were 100% accurate. He returns with the sales manager in tow who begins to give me the supply issue speech and how things are not getting better anytime soon. I guess he hasn't noticed the new car market softening. Enjoy chasing the market to the bottom with your greed and trying to convince people they are getting a good deal on used crap when they are clearly not. This sort of behaviour will come back to bite dealerships like this in the end. More

Me and my friend navdeep bought two cars from there and we had a really really bad experience with it… first we bought Jetta brand new in may 2021 and from the very first day I experienced so many problems we had a really really bad experience with it… first we bought Jetta brand new in may 2021 and from the very first day I experienced so many problems with my car and i’ve come 3 times for the service and they didn’t repair anything and even worst my autolock was not working so they told me that i would get a new key and they will call me and its been 4 months and no call… its brakes are worst and mileage is too low I don’t know why and the wipers are super noisy even they changed it but it didn’t work… then we bought golf 2018 and i told him that I can’t take it home as it had scratches outside and damaged from inside but adam said he can’t park it here and he will fix it soon bt take it home and we did and its been one year and now he doesn’t pick call and doesn’t reply to the texts… i just want to be my car fixed and we don’t want to keep golf anymore as paid for nothing for one year..
