Their staff is stellar and always available to help or answer your questions. Very flexible and just genuinely good people. 10/10 would recommend. The salesman who helped me, Trevor, occasionally texts me to check on how I'm doing with my car and has answered questions and problems when I've texted him way past business hours. All in all I would recommend them strongly to anyone I know, no question about it. More
Another great experience Yesterday I went to MR VW to purchase my new Golf Alltrack and had the pleasure of working again with Charles Tomozer who helped us with my wife's Jet Yesterday I went to MR VW to purchase my new Golf Alltrack and had the pleasure of working again with Charles Tomozer who helped us with my wife's Jetta a few months back. Charles was very responsive starting with answering my online enquiry within minutes and made sure to have the exact car I was looking at available for a test drive when I came in Saturday morning. He's friendly and personable and genuinely wants to help make sure the car is a great fit. I didn't feel pressured to buy something that wasn't what I wanted but felt like we working for a deal that worked for me. Charles was thorough in going through the vehicle options and features including some I hadn't known about in my prior research. He even drove my old diesel home so that I could easily take the new car home on the same day. That goes beyond my expectations! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charles to my friends and family! The rest of the team I worked with included Adam and Ben who completed the experience In a friendly and easy fashion. Well done and thank you! More

My experience - frustrating, upsetting, and regretful When I think about my experience at Maple Ridge VW , the words that come to mind are incredibly frustrating, upsetting, and regretful. I was approach When I think about my experience at Maple Ridge VW , the words that come to mind are incredibly frustrating, upsetting, and regretful. I was approached by Maple Ridge VW to buy back my 2010 Golf, which they apparently had a buyer for. When I purchased the original car in 2009 from Adam, I had a great experience so my partner and I went in to see what they could do for us in exchange for the car that they wanted to take off my hands. I was very up front from the start, saying that cost was the main concern as I am a grad student and had already paid off the previous car. I had also just put new tires on my Golf, so I wanted a set of tires that were going to last me a few years. I checked out a 2009 Tiguan that I liked right away. Rob and Chris positioned this as a "win-win" situation - I would be happy and the other buyer would be too. I was worried about making such a quick decision, but with a lot of reassurance that VW inspections were "world class", I took the jump and signed the papers within 2 hours of walking through the door. I began to have problems with the Tiguan right away. The gas tank wouldn't open when I needed it to, I learned later that I had to put in Premium Gas (NOT disclosed upon purchase), and the manual was missing so I couldn't figure out how things worked. I also discovered, by insisting on answers to my questions, that the tires were just above 50% - enough for it to pass inspection, but another cost that I would be responsible for probably within the first year of use. But the worst part was that I discovered - through my own insistence, NOT through the original inspection or service department - that the car needed a new head gasket and rear seal. A few thousands of dollars worth of repairs. And my car was not safe to drive until it was fixed. There was no way that the engine problems should not have been caught by the "world class inspection" done at the service department. Probably the worst part of this experience was that the people I was dealing with were unapologetic and not very helpful at all. The salesmen pointed the finger at the service department and the service department pointed right back. No one offered any solutions to the problem or took any responsibility for the problems and miscommunication that had occured. We tried to make contact with the General Manager, Lorne, but he didn't even come out of his office to apologize. We were passed through several different people before sitting down with Adam. He helped us to work through the options and I eventually ended up back in a Golf, this time with a few years left on the warranty. David was there when I picked up the Golf and he was fantastic - going through the checklist and all of the features of the car. Scott, in financing, was also fantastic and very helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with Maple Ridge VW was already tainted by that point, and I will not be purchasing from them again. More

I was greeted by Geoff Manning with a smile and got the sense that he wanted to take the time I needed to make an informed decision when I purchased my VW Jetta. He was very knowledgeable and guided me on a few long test drives so that I could really get a good sense of the vehicle. Rob was the other gentleman who was assisting me. They managed to put together a deal that worked for my budget and needs and I never felt pressured at any point. I would highly recommend VW Maple Ridge, and have already told friends and family about my experience. More

Beware their service department! Avoid their service department! Wife and I both have new VW cars. When she went in for service they lost her keys (almost gave her a loaner because Avoid their service department! Wife and I both have new VW cars. When she went in for service they lost her keys (almost gave her a loaner because it took so long). We are totally willing to let that one go, let's fast forward... I drop my car off for maintenance (costing $700), the morning after I pick up my car it dies on the highway!! Ends up somehow their service guy disturbed the ignition coils, burning out two of them. Lost a day of work to this problem., they offered a free oil change and a pair of wipers. While driving home from the dealership I hear a light thumping coming from the back of the car! After they look it over they can't find a problem! I've driven VWs for over a decade Maple Ridge VW service is the worst by far! I back VW 100%, but not this dealership! More
