Would not recommend GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! What a terrible experience I had back in Jan. 2020... I went in with my boyfriend (car fanatic) to look at trading in my 2016 GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! What a terrible experience I had back in Jan. 2020... I went in with my boyfriend (car fanatic) to look at trading in my 2016 Hyundai accident (clean title) for a used 2016 Jeep Cherokee North. Ended up finding one that was reasonable with low Kms...I thought, GREAT! Not the biggest fan of the selling price..tried to negotiate but didn't get anywhere. Fast forward 4.5 hrs of sitting there as they try to "sell" my 2016 Hyundai Accent Hatchback.. They finally offered me a trade in of $6500 (only 40k KM). I was rushed and wanted to LEAVE and agreed, despite thinking that was UNREASONABLE, I continued the process. I then spoke with Kerry in Finances who explained that I had "great credit" but gave me a 7.24 % interest rate? Seems fraudulent and unethical to me, am I right? Nonetheless, we then discussed extended warranty options - I agreed to partial extended warranty but I didn't get a printout of what EXACTLY was covered, it was all verbally stated very quickly. Since my time in this building was long enough for me to drive to Kelowna, I just wanted to GO! I was told not to make any lump sum payments towards my loan for atleast 6 mos as the dealership gets some monetary benefit. I questioned the $995.00 documentation fee as I thought this was ABSURD. Again, waste of time. When I left the lot with my new Jeep, I noticed a HUGE crack in the windshield but didn't want to even call them. A day later from my purchase I received a text from someone "Halina" claiming to work for MR Chrysler who wanted to follow up about my interest in buying a car. I was shocked and told her that I had already purchased a vehicle. Reply was that "the file would be updated"...weird. In my new car package I didn't get a copy of the car's Carfax report, nor did I get any information my coverage for my extended warranty I paid $3300 for. In Feb 2020 I cancelled my extended warranty and the money went to the car loan, not back to me in cash..frustrating money grab strategy. March 2020: Made a lump sum payment to my car loan to decrease interest and term (srry, don't want to wait 6 mos). Fast forward to June 20, 2020: Time to renew my insurance..I was online and came across a posting for a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 AMG for $20k, under 50k KM from another dealership. I called right away and made an appointment that day. WHAT A DIFFERENCE in customer service. I was greeted by friendly faces and was told that my Jeep was purchased for WAY too much. The staff there mentioned that I should've been giving at least $12,000 for 2016 Hyundai Accent Hatchback. I was given a very generous offer for my 2016 Jeep Cherokee and a finance rate of 3% LESS! I was given a copy of my credit check, printed copy of my Carfax and a printed copy and list of all services/parts covered in my extended warranty. It is disheartening to know that there are unethical businesses that only care about RIPPING you off, and using non-disclosure as a sales technique which is all I felt at Maple Ridge Chrysler. I will continue to spread my story to educate those that are new to the process - DON'T WAIT TO BE DISAPPOINTED AT M.RIDGE CHRYSLER. More
If I could leave a zero star I would. As soon as you drive off the lot, you will receive zero help. Experience buying a vehicle and them taking your money is great; after that you’re on your own. I bo drive off the lot, you will receive zero help. Experience buying a vehicle and them taking your money is great; after that you’re on your own. I bought a vehicle that was a new trade in and not yet service or inspected by the shop. I was assured when I would bring in the vehicle for its inspection, everything would be fixed to make it perfect. Long story short, I am now told I am responsible to replace warped routers and breaks for a vehicle that I bought less than 2 months ago. Even though I mentioned to the service department about some signs that the routers were starting to go on that inspection service appointment. I would never have bought the vehicle if I knew about the breaks and routers. The dealership told me it’s legal to sell a vehicle with 50% breaks; while other dealerships tell me that’s only allowed if the dealership knew from the beginning the state of the breaks (meaning it went through their garage etc. Which it didn’t). I was also told that my service/oil changes would be free because I am a frontline healthcare worker. They failed to mention that the promotion was ending 2 weeks after I bought the vehicle. I made two service appointments regarding my concerns, given the run around for two weeks only to be told it’s my driving and my responsibility, and I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t be given this treatment if I was male. This dealership is terrible and unprofessional. They don’t care about the customers, only taking your money. Would not recommend going to Maple Ridge Chrysler; there are many other places that are better! I will not be bringing my Jeep back there for anything. More

This dealership did a really good job allowing us to communicate through alternative means during the Covid outbreak. We did not feel pressured at any stage of the process.
