We went to Maple Ridge Chrysler to "just shop" for a new truck for my husband. The salesman was not pushy at all and just let us look around and we even took a test drive without having anyone com for a new truck for my husband. The salesman was not pushy at all and just let us look around and we even took a test drive without having anyone come with us. We had a vehicle to trade in as well and thought that the Sales Manager Steve was very accurateand fair with the price that he offered us. Over the course of 2 visits during the weekend we were helped by both Steve (Sales Manager) and Ian (owner). Both provided excellent customer service and didn't pressure us into making a decision, in fact they let us take the vehicle home overnight so we didn't feel rushed into purchasing it that day..We ended up buying a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 they didn't have the color my husband wanted in stock but found it at another dealership and brought it in at no extra cost. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience More

I would tell my family and friends that there is no other place to buy a jeep in all of the lower main land!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
CHAS turned an "up at 5 am, 6 hour of ferry travel day" into one of the best days I have had in years. I was promptly and courteously chauffeured from ferry to show room. Chas, having gained some day" into one of the best days I have had in years. I was promptly and courteously chauffeured from ferry to show room. Chas, having gained some insight from our phone conversations with regards to my needs, prepared 5 KILLER RAM 1500's ready for me to test drive .......HOLLY COW ..... WHAT TO CHOOSE. Enter CHAS again. He reviews some important details on my check list with me and points out a black / gold metal flake, 2013 4x4 Ram 1500 with a 5.7 HEMI and good options package...YEA BABY...a whole lot of what I need with a bunch of what I love. CHAS is a great Sales Associate, not only friendly but attentive and diligent. He inspires confidence with his knowledge of the Dodge brand. Someone at Head Office should give the man a really good cigar . He really does make you closer than we think. Simply a great experience dealing with the MAPLE RIDGE family. Boys and girls, YOU ROCK. They sell new cars but have a Used Cars sales Mentality They sell new cars but have a Used Cars sales Mentality They change prices like crazy from the initial test drive to when it comes on paper, And if They sell new cars but have a Used Cars sales Mentality They change prices like crazy from the initial test drive to when it comes on paper, And if you have a trade in they will hold the keys ransom and will try to push you to do a deal and they will give u about 35% below the going rate on your trade and they have a big dealer mark up that keeps changing. the car I seen was listed at 24,500 I went for a test drive it I liked it the price when I got back shot up to 26,900 they also lie about mileage and options was told it had leather and when I got there it didn't they said no problem we will add it and they said it would cost 2000, when they are paying 1200. Oh and here is the famous line of the night: The sales person proceeded to tell me that the manager is calling the owner and I have only seen this once before, I was like cool. But then I got up and walked around tired of waiting and I heard other sales people giving the same pitch I was very disappointed on the pushy abrupt sales techniques.3 out of the 4 people I dealt with had the used car sales man mentality. Stay away from this Dealership, far far away and if you do a deal here best of luck with them, and hopefully u have no issues with the vehicle. If you do man I can't even imagine how bad you would be treated, I think you would have to get it fixed else where and pay out of your pocket. More
We have had a very bad overall experience with this company. We went there to look for a car and when we found one were able to take it home that day. The sales staff was pleasant and we were happy. company. We went there to look for a car and when we found one were able to take it home that day. The sales staff was pleasant and we were happy. That's where the happiness ended. We had a lien on our trade in vehicle that we were unaware of and were not told about by the company either. When all the purchase papers were signed (of which we had to sign the same papers twice because they dated them wrong the first time) we didn't hear from them again. We were called by the company that held our previous vehicles loan two weeks later informing us they had not received their monthly payment. We called the dealership right away and that's when they said there was a lien on the vehicle that needed to be dealt with. So we started the process of having the lien removed. I had to continently communicate with mapleridge chrysler as they NEVER phoned me. Almost a month later I was told that the previous loan was going to be paid out that day. I received another call from that company a week later informing me they still hadn't been paid. Again, I had to call mapleridge chrysler only to be told it had gone out that day. So by the time were finished our dealings it had been over a month. I asked to speak with someone about our experience and was told to call the public relations manager. Upon speaking with him it was clear he did not understand that I was upset about the fact that we hadn't been told about the lien in the first place. I had contacted more than one other dealership that informed me that the lien would have come up as soon as our credit report was pulled. I was also upset about the fact that we were lied to about when the other car loan was being paid and the fact that there was no communication from the dealership with us whatsoever. It was only us who called them. Not to mention the fact that the car was not clean when we purchased it and we were charged for a full tank of gas that we did not receive either. When we took the car off the lot we had a quarter of a tank and then were charged for a full tank and told that they filled it when they never did. We were also told we could bring the vehicle in to be detailed and the sales associate set up an appointment with us. He did not however tell the detail department about this appointment and when we came in they had no idea we were coming and had four other cars to do. They fit us and did a xxxx poor job of detailing it. It was half xxx washed and vacuumed and that was it. So we told all this to the public relations manager and the first time he offered to fill up the car and have it cleaned. We initially accepted this, however were still upset that we were in no way offered compensation for our inconveniences. We never heard back from him about the other two things. We called him over two weeks later and he had to pull our whole file again and look over everything again as if we hadn't even spoken. Again it was clear that he didn't care about the many inconveniences we went through. Frusterated we attempted to call the floor manager only to be given back to the public relations manager. Now he was angry that we had tried to call someone else and was rudely told that it wouldn't work and we had to deal with him. Later that day he finally called us back and he would have to speak with the sales associate that we had before he could even authorize the full tank and cleaning. He also asked if we knew there was a lien on the vehicle and that was why there was a problem.....clearly he did not remember our previous conversations, which frustrated us further. We have still not heard back about the cleaning and gas. We are extremely unhappy with our experience. More
I made an attempt to puchase a vehicle from this dealer. I do not live in close proximity to this dealer, so visiting in person was not an option. I tried to obtain info about the vehicle, including photos, I do not live in close proximity to this dealer, so visiting in person was not an option. I tried to obtain info about the vehicle, including photos, an installed option report, and other data. I was told that I would recieve follow up phone calls, and emails , etc, but none ever came.During my initial negotiations, I mentioned a possible trade, and was informed that there existed buyers for my trade which would pay a deposit just on basis of a vehicle desription alone. Initial negotiation revolved around a valuation approximately 20% below current retail values. Further negotiations, after several unanswered phone call, provided a valuation where retail prices were 50% more than wholesale. Just a bit excessive in terms of need for profits. At this point the sale staff became rude, and very unresponsive to any further attempts to negotiate anything. I was then lead along with a "bait and switch" routine where they then tried to give me a more attractive offer on a different vehicle which was not at all what I was trying to purchase in the first place. My original contact of this dealer was from an online add posted on a large online seller site. The add had no price listed, and I recieved significantly different pricing on at laest two occasions, when I called for info. Overall, I wasted a week trying to get basic vehicle info, and negotiate a resonable price, but when I tried to contact the sales staff, after my first or second try, they stonewalled, or would not return calls as promised. Overall very poor customer service. I am very displeased and dissapointed by the treatment I recieved. I have not tried to contact the dealer principal, and at this point I am not sure it would help. One would think people could be a bit more proffesional in thier actions, but when things are going good, it does'nt matter if they xxxx off a potential new customer. Sad way to do buisness. Worst experience I have had in 30 years of vehicle purchases. More
