Good gone Bad and back again I bought a 2014 Jeep Patriot two months ago. My first experience with the dealership with Max and Lenny was great, both were knowledgeable and helpful I bought a 2014 Jeep Patriot two months ago. My first experience with the dealership with Max and Lenny was great, both were knowledgeable and helpful. Once the deal was done and there was a question it went sideways in a hurry. To try and get an answer about the interest rate took several phone calls, voice mails, emails before an answer came. I recently noticed I was still getting charged for the car I turned in, when I called VW they told me there was no record of any payment. Imagine the surprise! So a phone call yesterday and two today and still no answer. The follow up service is horrible. It's easy to do the simple stuff, when a problem arises you learn much about who you are dealing with. After posting this I was immediately contacted by Ian Speckman, the Dealer Principal. He thanked me for my feed back and promised a solution. I was contacted by Bob Jacobson and he made arrangements to send a new check for my old vehicle and for me to be reimbursed. Problems do arise but I cannot speak highly enough about how the entire team at Maple Ridge rose to the occasion to rectify my situation. My issue was not the fault of Maple Ridge but rather with VW credit who lost the check they had sent. Maple Ridge took responsibility and did go above and beyond and I am very thankful and appreciative of the service. More
The Maple Ridge Experience My family has been a customer of a very reputable dealership in the Lower Mainland for many, many years, as my uncle was the Sales Manager for that pa My family has been a customer of a very reputable dealership in the Lower Mainland for many, many years, as my uncle was the Sales Manager for that particular dealership- and I personally wasn't sure if I should stray from the people I know would take care of me, as we all know how stressful shopping for a new vehicle can be! However, after a great experience with my fiance, David, buying a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 from Maple Ridge Chrysler, he and I decided to take a look at purchasing a Jeep for myself after I rushed into buying a vehicle that I didn't fully love about eight months prior, after being involved in a car accident. I was stressed out, in pain and without a vehicle to no fault of my own- obviously buyer's remorse set in. I had browsed the new inventory on Maple Ridge Chrysler's website when I came across a few different white Jeep Wranglers, so when we arrived the next morning I obviously went straight to the one I had been checking out online and liked best, a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. David decided we should take a look at a different white one that was out on display, but I wanted to take a quick look at the Grand Cherokees. We were approached by a Sales Manager who wasn't very helpful, and to be honest I don't believe he really thought we were serious buyers. After looking at the Jeep Wrangler David wanted to check out, we decided leather interior probably wasn't the best idea, as we have two puppies that we take everywhere with us, and were going to go back to the first one. It was then that we were approached by Zia, and I'm really glad he came over to introduce himself! Zia is very personable, and he didn't put any pressure on us. He explained all the different Wrangler packages and pricing to us, but not in a sales pitch kind of way, it was like a friend filling another friend in. We went out for a test drive in the white Wrangler that I at this point had my heart set on. Both my fiance and I really liked it, who doesn't want a convertible SUV?! It was number crunching time, and knowing I was only eight months into a five year loan I went into this fairly stressed. It was then that we met with the Sales Manager who we had first spoken to but hadn't been very helpful. This is when the situation turned sour, as we were embarrassed and insulted by the Sales Manager because we weren't quick to sign the paperwork on it. Any couple making a large purchase such as a brand new vehicle, with some fairly luxurious features, wants to have a moment to discuss and make sure they're ready to solidify the deal- but we were made to feel stupid because we weren't leaping at his offer. I was very humiliated as it was loudly discussed we couldn't afford a vehicle that I loved, when I was more than aware it was within our price range. Zia came rushing to make things right, and had Steve involved as well. I explained to Steve that I generally went to a different dealership, but that because David had such a great experience with getting his new vehicle that I wanted to go there as well but that I was possibly eating my own words at that point. Steve gave us a couple different options if we were still interested in making a purchase, but both David and I were just so insulted that we weren't sure that we wanted to move forward anymore. However, Zia asked me to take home the Wrangler that I wanted, and really tried to smooth the situation over. I could tell he felt really terrible about what had happened. We came back the next day after deciding that I really wanted to keep it, and went forward on the paperwork. Something that Zia doesn't know is that on that very same day, the Operations Manager for the company I work for, who was also a very dear friend who I considered family, passed away suddenly, and I went in there with a lot on my mind with a new level of stress weighing heavy on me. Zia is so friendly and always has a huge smile on his face, which helped me feel a lot better with everything that was going on with me personally. I honestly couldn't have hoped for a better associate to have helped us through the entire process of buying my Wrangler. He really went the extra mile to ensure that we left there happy, whether we were going to move forward with the purchase or pass on it. Not only was he great with product knowledge and keeping us happy, he talked about himself and his family- it made the whole experience so much more than just buying a vehicle off someone. Even today when he called me to follow up, you can hear a smile in his voice. It continues to make me feel like I honestly had the best experience while getting the exact vehicle that I wanted! I would recommend anyone who is in the market for a new vehicle to go to Maple Ridge Chrysler and talk to Zia. As an Office Manager, I have a pretty high standard for customer service- and Zia surpassed it, greatly. More
I GOT NEW!!! Have been looking at new trucks for a bit. I received a warm welcome from Paulo. We talked and he listened to what I was wanting in a truck ...not once did he try and tell me about BIGGER...BETTER...He showed me what I asked to see. I took a 2013 Ram 2500 home as the paper work got done. LOVED the truck...Paulo called 2 days later and said come on down ...great news. Now either a 1500 or a 2500 would work for me, but when I got to the dealership and was asked if I wanted a Brand New 2014 Ram 1500 4x4???? I took that deal in a instant. Everything else after picking out which one was easy and fast. Great bunch of people down there, I bought a new truck and made some friends. Will recommend Maple Ridge Chrysler Dodge to everyone who asks and even if they don't ask... Thanks again!! Jeff More
