Service slow Although I find the staff very helpful and friendly I find slowness issues when dealing with transactions. The service department is very busy but there is only one place to pay and they seem to deal with dealership transactions as well which often leads to long line ups. When needing a shuttle I have waited over 45 minutes to be taken home. The shuttle service is a nice idea but the waits are long and if I had know they were that long I would have made other arrangements. My service agent was John Molly who was excellent and confirmed with me before needing to add gas to check my fuel tank replacement. I appreciated the check before charging but when I got the car I ran out of gas on my less than 10 minute drive home. (fortunately right beside a gas station) Also when I went to pick up my car it was blocked in by other vehicles and it took almost 20 minutes before the vehicles were moved and I was freed. I think they do good work I just think they have logistical problems in dealing with the volumes they have. More

In sales I had the pleasure of dealing with Magic Mike (Mike Retallick), who was "AWESOME", extremely helpful, super friendly, probably one of the best sales person I have dealt with and while my truck was being accessorized Mike went out of his way to pick me up in the big city of Ladner. I also had the pleasure in dealing with Sales Manager Dan Reaveley, Finance Manager Zachary Phillips and Parts Manager Brad Byth, who were all very knowledgeable and also extremely helpful with the purchasing of my new Dodge Ram. Best of all I had the pleasure of dealing with and having a conversation with the owner of MRC, Ian Speckman. It's an owner like Ian which makes Maple Ridge Chrysler an awesome dealership to deal with and a successful one, after all it's all about customer service and that's what MRC is about. My father had purchased a vehicle about 17 years ago from Joe Abenante at another dealer ship and low and behold, who do we get?, Mr. Joe Abenante. Joe made the experience of purchasing a new vehicle such a pleasure, and finding us the right vehicle with the right options to suit our needs with our 7 month old baby. Go see Joe, he will get you the deal you need for the price you need. More
Ram 3500-dealer trade Initial contact with this dealer was somewhat sporadic. No follow up phone call. Had to visit dealership. Inventory on my desired vehicle was limite Initial contact with this dealer was somewhat sporadic. No follow up phone call. Had to visit dealership. Inventory on my desired vehicle was limited. Again initial visit and a follow up was requested with inventory. Email sent reminding of same. I found the inventory I wanted at another dealership myself. Dealer requested I remain with them and they would acquire vehicle. Dealer trade went ahead. Final price agreed was fair. Additional accessories added to the vehicle at the other dealership were charged to me at full retail. Strongly disagreed with this. Dealer would not haggle stating this is what the other dealer charged them. This was disincentive to stay faithful to this dealer. Why not just go to the dealer with the inventory I wanted and haggle over the accessories? Salesman was excellent in regards to customer service. Came in on a day off as it coincided with the day I came in for delivery. Missed some minor damage after delivery noticing it when I got home. Dent in rear bumper. Obviously it had been backed into a post, small vertical dent in the chrome bumper. Returned to dealer 3 hours later advising of damage. Advised they would repair same asap and would call me in a few days. Too bad no one noticed it till I got it home but it is minor. Paid by cheque, no financing. APR% was not reasonable. Overall, fairly good experience. Initial contact and follow up could have been better but once a serious intention was communicated service was good. Again, actual salesperson was very good. Hoping the minor repair needed will be completed quickly. More
