They were super accommodating and checked in with me on my lunch break to let me know everything was on track. I really appreciated them updating me without me having to chase them down. When I came to pick up at end of day, they even provided a multipoint inspection free of charge... gave me a lot of peace of mind as we approach winter. They even bagged up my other set of tires so they wouldn't make a mess in my ride, very thoughtful! A couple days later, my advisor gave me a follow-up call to make sure everything was looked after - which I never really got with my other cars at other locations. So this was a nice touch. However, after I declined their expensive recommended water pump repair, they reneged on our agreement and charged me full price anyway ($80.01 in oil/filter parts plus full Service 2 labor of $226.95). When questioned, the advisor admitted they charged me because I wasn't doing the other repairs they recommend 1-Hour Diagnostic Scam for a 5-Minute Check: While the car was already on the hoist for routine service, the technician noted a water pump noise. They billed a full 1.0 hour diagnostic labor fee ($220.50) plus an automatic 13% "Shop Supplies" charge ($61.35)—totaling $281.85—simply to confirm a noise that can be easily heard and seen in under 5 minutes. * Inflated Storage & Blanket Fees: Charged $129 for seasonal tire storage on top of adding mandatory 13% shop supply markups onto pure diagnostic labor. Ever since buying my car in 2019, it has always been maintained with Toyota. But once the transition from Highlander to Macleod Trail Toyota happened, customer care and honest pricing completely vanished.
