Charles was very pleasant and addre We purchased a new 2017 KIA Soul EV Luxury from Lockwood KIA, the sales staff were very polite and knowledgeable. Charles was very pleasant and addressed all of our concerns. We picked up our car on Saturday (29 July 2017)—on Friday (4 July 2017) I was on the 401 with my wife, mother-in-law, our three year old and our 15 month old. The front tire blew out. We called KIA roadside assistance; the rep couldn’t say whether the vehicle came with a spare tire and told me out right that it was my responsibility to get my wife, elderly mother-in-law and two little children off the 401 because the tow would only have one seat available (she offered no advice or guidance). Thankfully, I had kept my CAA membership—CAA was able to tell me that the vehicle did not have a spare and also contacted a cab company willing to pick up my wife, mother-in-law and children from the 401. I contacted Lockwood KIA about the blow out. I spoke to the service manager, Brenda. Initially, Brenda told me that the tire was covered under warranty, but I would have to pay out of pocket and then submit a claim via fax or email to be reimbursed. She later called back and said that I needed to retain the blown out tire (I felt this was really odd, but didn’t want to argue while stuck on the side of the 401). On Saturday (literally seven days after buying the car), I contacted Brenda to find out why they needed the tire and to also explain that Lockwood KIA was an hour’s drive from our house and with two little ones we would really prefer not to make the drive to drop off a blown out tire. Brenda first responded by saying that the Scarborough KIA should have done something for us (which was not consistent with her initial instructions to pay up front and then be reimbursed later). She then said she could submit the claim but there might be issues without the tire—I told her that we would submit the claim without the tire, then deal with any issues that came up (if they came up). She then said that it would be fraud to submit a claim without the tire—this is where things got really weird because she was the one who initially suggested submitting the claim without the tire. Also we offered to drop the tire off at a local KIA if they needed a KIA technician to inspect it—this offer was refused outright (BTW, if you’re reading this my wife’s phone has an app that records conversations, so please don’t try and lie about it). Basically, my experience with KIA is they’re good at sales, not so good at anything else. Will avoid in the future. More

Everyone was very professional and eager to assist me. I had called ahead to make an appointment so there was no wait. I had an idea of The car I wanted and with a bit of assistance I was test driving a car before I knew it. Christopher Guidotti was the dealer helping me find the right car to lease and Though there were a few obstacles we found something in no time. I'm extremely happy with my new car and would definitely recommend Lockwood Kia. More
Great customer service for EV car! I leased a Soul EV recently. I appreciated that they made me feel comfortable by not trying to up-sell it. Christian made an effort to learn as much as possible about the Soul EV so that he could help me with my many questions. He also informed me of some valuable details I didn't think of asking about the charger, which wasn't available online or in the user manual. I also appreciated Michael went the extra mile to verify what other incentives I may qualify for, and found out I can also get a discount on the Kia Protect Appearance Protection because of the incentives. Great customer service! More
