I have no words for the lack of integrity at Lethbridge Toyota. We bought a Toyota Sienna in Feb 2023 from a private seller. One of the sliding doors wasn't working, so we took it to Lethbridge Toyota (LT) for a price quote to get it fixed. There was also a recall on the sliding door at this time, so we also made an appointment for that. LT quoted us $1500 for getting the door fixed, which we were not willing to pay. They said they had done the recall, but it did not fix the issue. Fast Forward to May 2024. We decided to get the sliding door fixed; at this time the other one had also stopped working. We took our van to Big Al's as we figured they would be more reasonable priced. After assessing it, they called and said that the door problem was covered under an extended warranty that Toyota had put out and that we should take the vehicle to Toyota to get it fixed for free. We took it there and were told the warranty had expired Feb 2023. I went home and then recalled that we had had our van in to get the sliding door fixed in Feb 2023 and had not been told about the extended warranty. I did a little digging and discovered we had had our van in 4 days before the warranty expired. I emailed with a service specialiast numerous times, but was told that they had not documented that we had had the van in for anything but a recall.(Whose fault is it that they failed to document the reason I had brought the van in in the first place?) He quoted me $3200 for getting both doors fixed. My husband spoke at lenght with a service manager named Mike who was rude and arrogant, and said he didn't care what we thought, Toyoya was not fixing the door for free.So even though we had our vehicle in while still under warranty, we were not told about the warranty, and once we knew about it, Toyota refused to work with us saying they had not documented about anything but the recall, so it wasn't their responsibility to fix it. (We were just expecting them to fix one door for free, since the other one had been working when we brought the van in initially.) Thankfully, we have a family friend who is good with cars. It cost $200 in parts and a little over an hour to fix both doors. A far cry from the $3200 Toyota quoted us. I will most likely not deal with Lethbridge Toyota again. The lack of intergrity, the dishonesty, and the degrading way customers are treated, is not something I am willing to put up with. I love Toyota vehicles, but this dealership does not care about customer satisfaction at all. More
LADIES BEWARE! I've never had a good experience with Lethbridge Toyota. My first experience with Lethbridge Toyota was not great - when I bought my car and wi I've never had a good experience with Lethbridge Toyota. My first experience with Lethbridge Toyota was not great - when I bought my car and winter tires - and I was told by the person who sold me my car that they would give me a "free oil change." When I booked my oil change online (Oct) I specifically mentioned the FREE oil change. I received a call back to confirm my oil change, and again, I made sure they knew I was told my oil change would be FREE. When I dropped my car off and gave them the keys, I brought up my FREE oil change again for the third time. Shocker, he saw no note of it in the system, but I watched him write it down. Guess what was not on my invoice. Suddenly everyone had amnesia and there was no mention of a discount. I was told to sit and wait for the manager. I could not wait any longer and decided to pay my invoice just so I could leave with my car. Literally seconds after my FULL payment was processed the manager walks out. He had in his hand a paper with handwritten notes that clearly say "refund $109.98" (see photo). I was told they would mail my refund cheque on Monday (see photo of transcript of audio recording). Over a month has passed and guess who hasn't received a cheque in the mail. If you are following along, that is the fourth time they have lied to me about this "free oil change." This trip to Toyota cost me almost $500, and when I got back in my car the check engine light was on, and the headlight I wanted to change was still there - giant hole and all (see photo). I marched right back in and asked why I just paid for an inspection only to have my engine light on and not dealt with, not to mention they changed the wrong headlight. They had my car for 8 hours, did a road test, yada yada ... And he had the nerve to tell me they would have to run another diagnostic. When I sarcastically said, "that sounds really hard," he said, and I quote, "It is! It takes about an hour to hook it up and run - drive the vehicle while it's on!" (See screenshot of audio transcript) First of all, hooking up the diagnostic can be done in the driver seat without removing anything. Secondly, they already charged me for a road test so that should have been done at the same time. Let's not look me in the eye and tell me driving is hard. Thirdly, they had my car for 8 hours and had plenty of time to figure out why the check engine light was on. Also, I believe they intentionally changed the wrong light because it costs $333 every time they remove the bumper, and instead this way they can charge me for it twice. Look at that picture and explain to me how they replaced the wrong one. They tried to gaslight me and tell me I refused that replacement, but it was literally one of the reasons I was there. For the record, I ONLY refused the replacement of the license plate lights because I don't want those. Ladies, watch out. We all know we need to record every second we are with mechanics because they take advantage of us, and Toyota has literally never told me the truth. Not ever. Not even a little bit. More
BEWARE! !! I was so disappointed to this dealership apparently there is an adds on aftermarket that includes running boards, lift kits and certain tires siz !! I was so disappointed to this dealership apparently there is an adds on aftermarket that includes running boards, lift kits and certain tires sizes that approved by their Service Parts Manager in coordination with our salesman Adnan but for some reasons they cut and ripped the fender inner liners on my brand new Tundra that results in ugly and unacceptable poor workmanship. I don't know if they knew how to lifting the truck despite of mistakes they return my truck unfinished with opened cut and ripped fender inner liners without aftermarket tires install supposedly part of the deal it should be replaced the fender inner liners which is unfair and unhuman treat for me as their customer and the sadness point this Tundra from Lethbridge Toyota. I will file complaint these issues to the AMVIC. Please see the attached pictures of my new 2023 Tundra before and after so sad 😞 Yes the Parts Manager Mike called after cut being done. I did mention to him just try to install the tire without spacer if the spacer was the problem but he told me I need to pay $399 for reinstall which is unfair cause as par our contract its included to the deal in accordance with the contract. By the way after a week in your service garage you return my truck without aftermarket tires supposedly installed as part of the deal the worse situation damaged fender inner liner imagine put yourself on my situation you should replace fender inner liners if you cant install the aftermarket tire. I will not complain if there is no issue Take note: the aftermarket tires size 285/65/R20 its approved before your Parts dept. order it and its only 34.6" height I did check the specs of the Rough & country 3.5" lift kits installed can fit up to 35/12.5/R20 tires. How come its ended to damaged my brand new Tundra? More
Listen up, folks! I've got a bone to pick with a certain sales manager that you need to be aware of. This guy, Rahim Karmali, is the epitome of greed. Let me tell you I've got a bone to pick with a certain sales manager that you need to be aware of. This guy, Rahim Karmali, is the epitome of greed. Let me tell you a little story. So, I was interested in purchasing a Grand Highlander, and I reached out to this dealership. I had a conversation with Scott, who seemed decent enough. We discussed the pricing and color options, and I was ready to seal the deal. But guess what? I had to wait for days, eagerly anticipating their call to make the deposit. And what do I find out? Rahim Karmali, the sales manager, has the audacity to refuse my order simply because I didn't want to cough up extra cash for an extended warranty package. And the reason? Oh, it's because I'm not from Lethbridge. Can you believe the disrespect? Let me make it crystal clear: this behavior is utterly disgraceful. While Scott appeared to be a decent guy, the management team, led by the money-hungry Rahim Karmali, is just out to exploit people. They want to squeeze every last penny out of unsuspecting customers, and they don't care who they trample over in the process. So, take my advice and steer clear of these greedy individuals. Don't let them take advantage of your hard-earned money. Spread the word and let everyone know to be wary of this dealership's sales manager, Rahim Karmali. Stand up against this kind of behavior and demand better treatment as a consumer. More
