Very disappointed in Langley Toyota. Been dealing with them for years, although I live in White Rock, and until now have found them to be reliable and providing excellent service. I am 75 and disabled. I them for years, although I live in White Rock, and until now have found them to be reliable and providing excellent service. I am 75 and disabled. I rely on my car to get around as I am only able to walk short distances. I had a flat tire a few weeks ago, which they repaired. Two days later it was flat again, and they repaired it again. Today it looks like the same tire has a slow leak and when I called to make an appointment they said they were too busy. The person I spoke to suggested I drive round the tire shops to see if someone will fix it. I would have been okay with replacing the tire, if that means that I can once again count on my car to be functional when I need it, but I was assured that the second repair was sufficient. I was shocked that they had no helpful suggestions and apparently no interest in keeping me as a customer. More
I was expecting cleaning of my car thoroughly but they gave me a car wash coupon. Anyhow, Mr. Curtis Edward was nice and helpful. I give him 5 stars for his efforts. gave me a car wash coupon. Anyhow, Mr. Curtis Edward was nice and helpful. I give him 5 stars for his efforts. More

Came in for a service and a comlkajnt about a window trim sticking and binding with the window.. Waited 2.5 hours and was informed by service personnel the technician found no issue with the window nor trim sticking and binding with the window.. Waited 2.5 hours and was informed by service personnel the technician found no issue with the window nor the window trim. I left the dealership and on my home had the same window trim issue, same squeking and binding with the lowering glass.. When I returned to the dealership 15 minutes later and inquired what was done, the servixe person chexked with the tech who had reviewed the cehicke comllaint and was informed he heard the trim squeking however didnt see that as an issue and didnt do anything about it. The trim piece is worn, rough to the touch and makes a dramatic scraping noise when interacting with the lowering glass..Seems as though if you discover a problem while servicing a vehicle in the same area as the complajnt is reported, you would take steps to repair it or at the very least confirm with the vehicle owner waiting if that was the iasue or part of the issue. Now a new is part being ordered and I have to book another trip to the dealership and wait for a repair. Service technician complaint not a service front counter personnel issue. Not at all impressed. More

If I could give this dealership negative stars, I would. I had an absolutely HORRIBLE overall experience. I was looking to switch from a truck to a car for better gas mileage. I am from the interior of BC s I had an absolutely HORRIBLE overall experience. I was looking to switch from a truck to a car for better gas mileage. I am from the interior of BC so I arranged to sell the truck in Langley and then found a car which looked mint in the pictures portrayed online. After being told that it was spotless by the salesman... He said there were some light scratches on the rims but other than that it was Mint I specifically asked if there were any dents or scratches to be worried about as I am very picky about my vehicles... He confirmed that there were none and no issues with the car. I put a down payment on the car at this point and arranged a car appointment for the morning on Friday at the end of the week as I planned a camping trip for the evening. Day before I was to buy the vehicle, the salesman wrote to me stating that the vehicle would only be available at 12... I was not happy with this as I had a 4 hour drive back to where I was going camping, but I made some arrangements and made it work. Day of buying the vehicle, I sold the truck and walked to the dealership where I was going to wait till 12 to see the vehicle... I arrived around 10:30 and I waited till after 12:00 and then went and found the salesman. He said there was probably 30 mins left till the vehicle would be available. Long story short. Did not get to see the car till around 4 pm. I was getting frustrated as I was now going to miss my camping trip. I went out to see the car and first thing I noticed was significant damage to the leather seat on the driver's side which I had been assured everything was super mint I turned the car on and there was an odd ticking noise happening, I thought maybe it would go away during the test drive but it actually got louder, I called my salesman and asked if he could do anything for me about the price as the seat was showing a decent amount of wear.. He told me that I already had over 2000 in savings actually around 1200 and that it was as is where is... I went back to the dealership and asked my salesman to have a mechanic look at the car for the odd ticking noise I was hearing... The head mechanic stated he had no idea and it would need to go to a Chrysler dealership to get diagnosed and repaired. I told the salesman that if he would put it in writing that the cost of the repair would be covered by Langley Toyota that we had a deal. He came back from his manager stating that he had it in writing. I double checked the papers and sure enough they said they would cover getting an engine code cleared and nothing else. I found my salesman and told him that they needed to add the ticking noise, or I was not buying the vehicle. He finally added the ticking noise repair, and I purchased the vehicle. On my way home I noticed that although the salesman had stated the breaks had to go through vigorous safety testing and were mint, that they shook badly at highway speeds… When I got home, I missed my camping trip and after it had stopped raining, I examined the car a little more closely as it had been pouring when I bought the vehicle. To my amazement my "mint" car had about 40 to 50 small hail dents on the trunk, there were also multiple other dings around the vehicle which I could not see in the rain. Took the car to the Chrysler dealership and they informed me the car was unsafe to drive as the coolant was flowing out of the water pump. They had my car for a week and a half repairing it which they didn’t end up repairing the correct part. I will never visit this horrible dealership again, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else, if you do wish to use this dealership my only hope is that you don't get treated like trash like I was.
