My wife and I are life long Toyota customers…. Anyone remember the red jacket Toyota jump? Anyway nvm…, we made a deposit of $1000 site unseen to hold a vehicle for 5 hours while we travelled over from the island. After test driving, and negotiating in good faith, we settled on a ‘sales price’ (essentially the advertised price from the web page) and then offered to buy the vehicle outright. Problem!!! This dealer then declined our offer as they insisted that we ‘finance’ so they and their banking partner could pull additional funds from us beyond the sales price effectively delaying our ownership of the vehicle for a year or two and optimizing their profits. Financing is a good option if one needs it but should not be thrust upon you as your only path to purchase. I have never seen such a disgusting display of unethical behaviour before. I did obtain a token gas card from the dealer towards offsetting the expense of travelling, a gesture I concluded was an attempt to buy silence. They also made sure to decline my offer outside, which was odd as they must have been concerned that I would create a scene for which I did not nor wouldn’t. This suggests to me that this situation must play out with some frequency as they appeared practiced. My wife and I were absolutely gob smacked by this ugly display. Stay away….. far far away from this sketchy show. More
Very mean customer representative in Service Department. I phoned for the first time and she asked if the vehicle had been there, and I explained why I haven't been there after a year of purchasing the veh I phoned for the first time and she asked if the vehicle had been there, and I explained why I haven't been there after a year of purchasing the vehicle, instead of listening to what I was saying, she said "That's not what I am asking for." She could have just listened first and ask again. July 29, 2024 12:23PM More

Took my car in today. Had to wait a long time to get it looked at even though I had an appointment. I live with my 96 year old Mother and I have to get someone in to sit with her when I have appointments. This gets expensive. So on top of the long wait, when they finally found out the cause of the warning lights on my dash, they told me it would be about $500, on top of the $100 I was charged to find out the problem. However they didn't have the part. So I would have to come back again which means another care bill on top of the very expensive fix. Not impressed at all. More
The sales team is very good. Dallas helped us on on test drive. He is very friendly. Brham is a great sales person (I would liketo give him 10 out of 5 stars). Very friendly, helpful and explain in detail. Also, the sales manager, Richard, he is also good. He addressed the concerns that I had with his greatest effort. More
I arranged to come from out of province to purchase a used Sienna from this dealership. We worked out all details on the phone before we travelled, including the price of the vehicle I was trading in. used Sienna from this dealership. We worked out all details on the phone before we travelled, including the price of the vehicle I was trading in. Once I asked the dealership for a quote for my current vehicle, there was no going back however. They would not sell me the Sienna if I would not trade in my vehicle to them, despite them telling me on the phone that they were going to lose money by taking my vehicle. They ended up listing it for more than $5,000 than they paid for it, and it was sold within 2 weeks. To the sales manager's credit, she gave me the exact price I was told on the phone which I appreciated - they didn't try to screw me there since we had come from out of town and already committed. She genuinely seemed nice enough and was the one redeeming thing in our experience at this dealership. Jashan, my sales rep, couldn't have seemed more disinterested when we were at the dealership the day we did the deal. He didn't have any knowledge about the actual vehicle or take any of the time we were waiting around to show us about the van. However, leading up to the deal, he did respond quickly to texts and sent photos which was nice. My experience in the finance office (I paid cash) was awful. It was the most intense sales pitch I've ever been through and so uncomfortable - everything from condescending jokes to the trainee picking her leg hairs in the corner of the office. At first Andy told me because we were paying cash, he could give us the extended warranty at their cost (somewhere in the mid $4,000s) instead of the retail price of $5,900. I declined all his offers all the way down past an offer in the $3,000s, an offer of $2,900 until he finally gave up on me at $2,510 and let us free. We were in the finance office for more than an hour and I probably aged 10 years. Additionally, we were forced into their $795 "key fob protection" and $499 "dealer preparation" fees. They state online these are just 'offered' as additional services, but that was a lie. When I told Andy I did not want them, especially the "key fob protection", he told me he's never heard of anyone not having that and the conversation died. After Jashan initially showed us the Sienna when we arrived, he told us he would take it inside to dry it (I guess it had just been washed), and sometime between us first seeing it and us taking it to drive away, the driver side mirror was hit hard enough to chip the paint and pop the plastic out of the casing. No one took responsibility (although we were given a touch up pen earlier for a rock chip we already knew about). Finally, as we were leaving, my salesman asked me point blank to write a positive review on Google for him because he would get $100 if I did. I'll never come back to this dealership based solely on this experience and I would advise anyone else to go elsewhere if you can. Update: Pav, a sales manager, called me and offered to pay for the replacement part and install for the mirror that was damaged. Really appreciated, a sincere thanks to him on this. More
