Lallier Honda de Hull

Receptionist gave wrong info & was rude. I love my 2012 Accord & have the 7 year extended warranty. Last Fall my front windows suddenly stopped working. Called Lallier, told receptionist I wa I love my 2012 Accord & have the 7 year extended warranty. Last Fall my front windows suddenly stopped working. Called Lallier, told receptionist I was under 7 year warranty, regardless, she told me this problem was not covered under the warranty - I beg to differ. I went to a Honda dealer in Ottawa & sure enough...of course it was covered under warranty - they fixed it. So I spoke with the Hull manager. He tells me that the reason I was 1st told it wasn't covered is because I hadn't had the transmission fluid changed, which is a warranty requirement?!...I always bring my car in for regular oil changes and they tell ME if/when warranty requirements are due...as they have in the past. Manager tells me "it's my responsibility to ensure these warranty requirements get done". How am I to know this? I'm not a mechanic - I'm a 63 year old woman!...and Honda hasn't shy'd away in the past to tell me other warranty services were required - have always had required warranty services done and have always relied on the dealership to advise me. The manager tried putting me at fault - imagine! I took a different stance. I then asked him to explain to me "what does the transmission fund have to do with faulty electrical switches"... all he could say was that if you miss one of the warranty requirements...your warranty is null. He told me he'd handle it and to just bring my car in asap to gave the trani fluid changed and he'd fix himself up with Honda to ensure Ottawa dealership gets the ok to cover the cost of the faulty electrical switches. Shame on you Lallier for letting a good loyal customer down. It's up to YOU to inform ME when warranty work is manditorily required - you've done so in other inspection visits. Give it a break! Admit it when you're wrong. Ottawa dealership said it was negligent on your part. I guess I can't trust you with my extended warranty requirements but you were quick and determined to sell it to me as a benefit. Thank goodness I know differently & I don't easily give in when I know something is just not quite right. Don't be so arrogant and advise your receptionist to deter her inaccurate opinions and misinformation - READ the warranty and take care of your clients and inform and ensure ALL warranty requirement's are made known to the client. Imagine! being told I should have read the full extent of the warranty agreement!...give it a break - that's for you to tell me especially when I always regularly bring my car in to your branch for servicing & routine check ups. Salesmen are great and informative - it's the service centre that's at fault and unfortunately unreliable. This mistake of yours almost cost me my warranty. More

Horrible service, horrible place, horrible staff Due to my own mistake (of buying a new car there) I have now dealt with this dealership on 4 separate occasions and each one has been the antithesis o Due to my own mistake (of buying a new car there) I have now dealt with this dealership on 4 separate occasions and each one has been the antithesis of good service. I took my car there to fix the radiator, which had been previously damaged, and unnoticed by another horrible mechanic. My insurance covered the work, so I was happy to go to the dealer in this case. When I picked up my car and drove it off the lot it died within five minutes of leaving the dealership (due to faulty grounding, I presume, as everything cut out suddenly and my power steering disappeared). I took the car back, left it, and the next day they phoned to tell me that there was nothing wrong with it and that I could pick it up anytime. The engine had cut out on me twice in 10 kilometres of driving, and yet it worked fine after they looked at it again, despite assuring me that nothing was wrong to begin with (I assume they fixed the wiring without telling me and simply played dumb). This past week I had to have my subframe replaced, and since my car was unsafe to drive, and since this dealership is the most proximate, I again made the mistake of having the work done there (definitely the last time). They fixed my subframe, however in leaving the dealership my gas pedal was sticking. I pulled over and fished around, only to discover a rigid plastic cap wedged behind the pedal. I also noticed a two-foot scratch on my front bumper that was not there when I dropped the car off. In terms of customer service, they have none. When paying my bill recently, the receptionist was too busy flirting with one of the mechanics to even say "thank you/goodbye". She handed me my receipt while continuing to chat with the mechanic, and when I said "thank you" she didn't even bother to respond. On my previous visit I witnessed a conversation between the general manager and another receptionist: GM: Did you lose something? Receptionist: um, no, what? GM: Your smile Thankfully there was a garbage can nearby that I could immediately vomit into. Despite the fact that I have told them numerous times that I'm not interested, I regularly get phone calls from the dealership offering me special "VIP sales", and no amount of insistence, or expletives, seems to deter them from calling. Unfortunately "money-grubbing" isn't one of the rating categories, though if it were I would give them 5-stars in that regard. The irony of all this is that I'm very happy with the car itself, and would gladly buy another Honda. However I will never do so from this horrible dealership. In fairness, the two women who regularly work the service counter are both very friendly and polite, however that isn't nearly enough to make up for the incompetence this dealership displays in every other regard More

IMPORTANT NOTICE - very disappointing. I have a 2008 Honda Accord - 4 cylinder automatic. I went to start my car last night and it did not work. In September, I had my car serviced by my dealership Lallier Honda located at 981 St Joseph Blvd in Hull so I called them this morning to inform them that I was surprised that I could not start my car since the battery was dead. Line Pilon informed me that the car cannot stay without running more than 2 or 3 days or this will happen. I informed her that I had another Honda and this problem never occurred. I also realized that when I was on holidays for two weeks when I came back my car did not start. Verification on internet confirmed that other Honda owners had the same problem. To all Honda owners please be aware there is a problem with the battery DO NOT LEAVE your car parked more than 2 or 3 days or you will be without a car until you charge the battery. I am very disappointed with the service of Lallier Honda in Hull because they knew there was an issue with the battery but they never informed me or do anything to fix this problem.
