Great people, great vehicles I had been thinking about upgrading my vehicle for awhile now, and while I had done a lot of research via the web, I hadn’t yet visited a dealership. The Trax was one of the ones I had been looking at though, which met my requirements in a CUV. I had taken my vehicle (2002 Malibu) in for a tune up and check on a couple of other issues I had been having with the vehicle. While the vehicle was in I took the opportunity to check out the Trax in the showroom. Cheri introduced herself and suggested a test drive which I took her up on. Really liked the feel of the vehicle and the way it handled. Meanwhile the service department had advised me of some possible issues with my vehicle which would require some costly repairs. Given the age of the vehicle (despite low clicks) my search took on a more serious role. Another vehicle I had been researching, in the same category was the Nissan Juke so while I was looking around I also checked that out. I had always liked the looks of the Juke, but I found the Trax to be roomier on the inside and just felt more comfortable overall. Trax also had a lot less road noise at highway speeds. The vehicle plus the people at Lakewood helped me make my decision. From the service department to Cheri in sales, through Erin in finance, everyone was very professional and worked to present me with all the facts necessary to help me make my decision. They all made sure I understood all the details and thoroughly answered my many questions. I felt that the quality of the people matched the quality of the vehicles and helped me feel a lot more comfortable about working with them. So far I have been very happy and satisfied with my choice. Had a small road trip, through a blizzard which gave me a chance to actively test out the AWD, ABS and the rest of the safety features of the vehicle, which I’m happy to say worked perfectly. Looking forward to many years of ownership and working further with the dealership. More

Great Service Had a issue with a rip in the leather on my seat , Spoke to Dan about it when I was picking up my truck from an oil change , he looked at the rip and Had a issue with a rip in the leather on my seat , Spoke to Dan about it when I was picking up my truck from an oil change , he looked at the rip and said this would be covered by warranty , and made the necessary arrangements to get this fixed. A lot of dealers you'll go and it's like vultures when you come in, but at Lakewood its very relaxed and very low pressure. Even after testing the truck I eventually bought and leaving, on my return they weren't seeing dollar signs but instead someone who they could assist. Additionally, I forgot my blank cheque/payment slip which got me a loan. Huge mistake on my part but Lakewood went above and beyond and let me take the truck for the week as long as I got them the paperwork as soon as I could. They really do care about your happiness and I will keep my business with them for years to come! More

Was expecting to leave the car overnight and figuring I'd be dropping at least $500 after looking online for suggestions. Turns out it was only a couple bulbs and bad luck/timing that caused both to fail at the same time. Cory and Dan quickly got their hands dirty to swap them in for me and I was on my way! Nowhere close to the time and cost I was anticipating. Driving away feeling great is a constant here! From the moment I purchased my (used) car and every service visit I feel like I made the right choice. Highly recommend this dealership to anyone! More

It was December 27th, it was cold and we were heading back to Calgary. But we called GM roadside assistance. And they took it from there. Lakewood's service consultant Erika Hygard took good care of may wife and I and our son. She was in touch with our rental car supplier. She coordinated with them, us and the repairs to our car. When I came to town to pick up the car, Erika had everything ready for us and give us turn-by-turn directions on how to avoid the worst of rush-hour traffic in Edmonton, on one of the coldest days of the year. Our local Calgary dealer has been pretty good to us but Erika was amazing. More
