My salesman Ryan Kelly made me feel like I was a part of their Kia family a I have to say that everyone at Kia West Edmonton were great to deal with. My salesman Ryan Kelly made me feel like I was a part of their Kia family as did everyone else there. I purchased a 2016 Sorento and absolutely love it. Ryan, Scott, Chris and Tarah all did everything they could to make my vehicle purchasing a breeze. I will absolutely recommend Ryan and Kia West Edmonton to everyone I know!!! Absolutely love them and can't wait to see them again. There commitment to their customers is obvious when you are dealing with them. poor service I bought a van from kia west Edmonton last month and I was told the I will get my brand new van the 5th of may then the 7th then the 11th then the 15t I bought a van from kia west Edmonton last month and I was told the I will get my brand new van the 5th of may then the 7th then the 11th then the 15th and today we are the 19 of may and I did not receive my van yet every day I make calls to kia west Edmonton and kia Canada and until now I cann't get an answer from them, I suppose to leave on a vacation with my family for a big trip with our supposedly new van but we had to cancel all our bookings and reservations because kia Canada does not give a xxxx about my kids. when I called to kia Canada and complained to the lady, she told me she will get in touch with me in the after noon, she did call back but she said she could not get in touch with kia west Edmonton, imagine the whole day she could not get in touch with them so after 10 minutes I called kia west Edmonton and wow I can reach them so easy. until now am not sure when I will get my van this a great service, every one please do not purchase any vehicle from this company. New Sorento Lemon Staff was excellent when we where in to spend money to buy a new Sorento. But when the car endid up in the shop repeatedly since we owned it, we reali Staff was excellent when we where in to spend money to buy a new Sorento. But when the car endid up in the shop repeatedly since we owned it, we realised it was unfortunately a lemon.this car has been in shop 5 times in 5 weeks have only put 1000km on it since its at the shop all the time, the kia west dealer said they wanted to make it right . When I got there they depreciated our car and tried to sell us another one for around an additional 10 to $15, 000 more (the so called depreciation for the 5 weeks we have owned it).the owners son Chris no only tried to rip us off for more money but also called me a lyer .as off today I have a $48, 000 lawn ornament and have called kia canada and am starting leagal proceedings against kia west.Have a great day Chris will be talking to you again soon!!!!!!!!.I would be very carful about any one doing any deals with this dealership. Overall kia is a great car, just please go somewhere els to get one. More
Service The staff in the service department do not seem to be adequately trained to give an appropriate estimate for how long a part replacement will take. I The staff in the service department do not seem to be adequately trained to give an appropriate estimate for how long a part replacement will take. I was assured less than 5 hours, and sat waiting for my vehicle, only to be told (after the first shuttle had already left) that it was something that could take 1-2 days. Having no other transportation arrangement made to get to work that afternoon, I had to cancel and rebook for a week where I had two consecutive weekdays off. It seems to be almost impossible to secure a loaner car for warranty issues that will take more than a day. It is also difficult to get consistent information about these loaner vehicles. I was told: -no service on the weekends -there are 3 loaner cars -they cannot be reserved ahead of time. Yet when I came back on Monday at 0730 for my rescheduled warranty issue, hoping to score an elusive loaner car, I was told: -"the" loaner car had already been lent out on Saturday. While balloons, chocolates, and cards are great; what I need from a dealership is a reliable and helpful service department, that will provide me with what I need to continue on with my life when there is a manufacturing issue with their produce. Needless to say, when I upgrade to a larger vehicle next year, and as I purchase vehicles throughout my lifetime: I have learned my lesson and will investigate the service department at the next dealership my husband or myself purchase from. More
Beware of your trade in value I got the worst trade in value for my 2006 sorento. Buy your car here but dont go for service here. My wife and i bought our kia in 2013. We love our Soul. But when we take it in for service we consistently get it back dirty. The last two instances h My wife and i bought our kia in 2013. We love our Soul. But when we take it in for service we consistently get it back dirty. The last two instances happened when we took it in for the recall for brackets in the headliner and then a service 3. When we got it back after the headliner service there were greasy fingerprints on the pillars and PRY MARKS on the clips and pillars! And they gave it back to us like that! When we took it back and told them, they cleaned the inside and ordered the parts to replace the parts with pry marks. It took a month and a half for them to come in. So we take it in to have it fixed up and tell them its due for a service 3 so might as well do that at the same time. Well this time the weather stripping that needed to be removed to replace the parts was not put back properly and there were more greasy/dirty figerprints than ever. I dont know who they have working in the back but they will not be touching my Kia again. I will go to another Kia dealer for my service from now on. Severely Frustrated, Peter Haiden More
Tire issues. I do not own a kia but from word of mouth I decided to take my car in for new tires. I had a issue with all of them deflating. when buying new tires I was taken into the back and shown what was wrong with the tires. Everyone In the service department was very nice and super helpful. after shopping around kia had the best price for tires I was looking for. I will be a returning customer and I am very Pleased with the effort Everyone in the service department went through to make sure I left happy and educated. More
