I am the type to be suspicious of sales people but Ryan quickly gained my trust. He worked with me on my trade and gave me a great deal on a new car. But I realized it is not right time for me to afford a new car, I went back to dealership and had to tell them I needed to cancel the deal. Not the sort of news a dealer wants to hear, but they were very understanding and agreed to return my deposit. That means a lot to a single mother on a fixed income! When I'm ready to buy a new car, I’ll come back to Kia West. More

I was misled at least twice by employees in financing I bought a used car and traded in my old one. When discussing what they would pay for my trade in they asked what I still owed on it so I told them. T I bought a used car and traded in my old one. When discussing what they would pay for my trade in they asked what I still owed on it so I told them. They advised that they would pay the bank what I still owed on it. That’s exactly what I was told. They forgot to mention that they would pay it off with my money and that they’d only actually pay me 3/4 of what I still owed. The next thing I was told was that provincial legislation stated that I had to have some extra things done to the car and that would cost me $900 for doing about 10 things to it. It worked out it was about 10 procedures at $900 EACH!!!!! (And I didn’t HAVE to get any of that done. She had lied to me.) I did make a major error and did not review the final contract of the cost as I thought I knew what I was signing. A dumb stupid thing to do. So when my husband pointed out my actual cost the next day I was shocked to learn my “new” car went from $25,000 to $40,000 . So I phoned the manager up and explained to him what I had been told. He didn’t believe me but told me as a sign of good faith he would immediately deduct $1000 from my contract. Yeah well, that didn’t happen either. So, BEWARE of this dealership, as they have no trouble in misleading or lying to you. The used car side of the dealership were fine, it was those involved in the financing. The last five cars I have bought have been from Kia, but note that the West End dealership is nothing like the Sherwood park one where we have gone all the other times. If you want a Kia, which are great cars, go to another dealership, and really beware as a female buyer. They will happily rip you off. GO TO ANOTHER DEALER!!!! More
