Frustrating Waste of Time Terrible experience. Worked out a deal with the salesperson, who said he had it approved by the manager, and when we went up to the front desk to fin Terrible experience. After deciding that a Kia Soul would be the right vehicle for us we headed to the Kia dealer on SW Marine Dr. Well, we were in for an unexpected treat! Great no pressure assistance from Amrit and Alex. The guys put us at ease about the 2013 preowned Soul that we were interested in buying. Discussing the price was relaxed and respectful. We settled on a fair price and even received a reasonable trade in on our beloved Suzuki. Danielle helped us with the contract of sale and our new gem of a car was waiting for us right outside the showroom door, the vehicle was totally spotless. Complete with swag bag in hand, we wrapped up our experience at Kia with a demo of some of the car's features and then with sincere well wishes from the sales staff we were on our way driving our new baby home. Our original sales person had retired so we spoke to Will (Alabazo), Will is fairly new to this dealership, but for sure knows the product. We had a great experience, he is patient, he listens well, and does his very best to work with your budget. All this with no pressure, and THAT we definitely appreciate. Now we have a nice new Kia Soul to drive again. Thanks a lot Will. I would also like to emphasize how important these additional benefits were and are being continued with our new Kia. Free car washes and oils changes for life! We go to Mexico each year and have and continue to be able to leave our Kia parked on our Dealer's lot for as many as 4 months free! This dealership also provides us free shuttle to the Vancouver airport and this free shuttle also will pick us up when we return home. The service department has also been very flexible about the timing of our required maintenances to uphold our warranty. We will not have driven our Kia for these Mexico months, so there is not a strict requirement re having a scheduled maintenance after 6 months. The 5 year warranty and 24 hour roadside assistance is also very valuable. This new Kia has a larger more fuel efficient motor (2 litre) and subsequently has more "pep". The power steering has been improved. We are very happy owners of this great Kia Soul and totally happy with our dealership. I should not have forgotten to praise Crystal who usually answers when we phone this dealership. She is very friendly and professional and is very good at arranging our parking for months and getting us our shuttle services to the airport and back. More

EJ is awesome and amazingly quick turnaround on the deal I had a very short time frame to complete my car purchase as I live a 4 hour ferry ride and drive away. Once I had made my decision the paperwork was completed very quickly and everything was done! After doing a mountain of research and numerous test drives of SUVs in the mid-size category I ultimately decided the 2017 Sportage would be the best choice for my wife and me. Finding an EX Tech (white with brown leather) trim package however, proved to be a real challenge with 2 different lower mainland Kia dealerships informing me that they would have to either have the vehicle shipped, at additional cost from Saskatchewan, or make us wait until likely the new year for new inventory. I had originally – and wrongly – avoided the Vancouver Kia location believing that they would be the least likely to provide a fair deal on a vehicle. I could not have been more wrong for with a single email, an efficient and professional chain of communication commenced with Vancouver Kia’s salesperson, Eric (EJ) Navales. In my initial email I clearly stated the vehicle and trim level I was looking for as well as my price and my preference to communicate via email only. In less than a few hours, via email only, EJ not only had located the exact Sportage I was looking for (with same day delivery available) but we also managed to negotiate a reasonable and fair price. All of this occurred in a 100% no-pressure, respectful manner via email – in fact the first time I finally spoke directly with EJ was by phone to provide him with my credit card deposit. The next day, my wife and I took delivery of the Sportage and the experience within the dealership with EJ and all of the staff just continued to impress both of us almost beyond belief. For instance, the vehicle EJ found for me had been preinstalled with hundreds of dollars of accessories that I neither needed nor wanted to pay for. EJ and I agreed that the accessories would be removed so as to bring the vehicle within my budget however, upon careful inspection, EJ and his colleagues in the service department discovered that some of the accessories, such as the running boards could not be removed without potentially damaging the Sportage. Being a man of his word, and in a stunningly professional manner, EJ informed me that the price we had agreed to the day before would be honored in full with the vehicle being provided with the aforementioned accessories remaining in place! I could go on, but if you are still reading this, I will just wrap up by saying the rest of the staff was terrific – Larisa Kungel in the finance department was gracious and professional as she thoroughly explained all of our additional warranty and coverage options and as we politely declined each one due to our budget limitations. There were no sideways looks or demeaning comments – just a no-pressure, friendly and thoroughly professional experience throughout. Kia Vancouver has fully restored my faith that the new-car buying experience need NOT be a stressful, gut-wrenching experience topped off with a healthy measure of buyer’s remorse – we absolutely LOVE our new Sportage and look forward to driving it each day - all thanks to EJ and his team of professionals at Vancouver Kia!
