Worst Car Buying Experience EVER never have I had to deal with such an incompetent dealership. First called up and asked them for a 4 door tacoma with a six food bed and told that suc never have I had to deal with such an incompetent dealership. First called up and asked them for a 4 door tacoma with a six food bed and told that such a thing didn't exist. Then when we got there it was like the only thing they cared about was the sale. They couldn't answer any questions that were asked and were not even listening to what was being said. The young salesman was nice enough and tried but I don't think he had any real training in being a salesman. Didn't make notes of what we wanted. Then we met with the business manager who was only interested in selling the extended warranties and when we told her we were paying cash and were not interested in anything, there was a cold wind in the air. It was like all of a sudden we didn't matter at all. Told they would locate a truck with our specifications. Got a call two weeks later saying they had the truck, drove up there (110km) to get it only to see that the add on's we asked for were not on the truck. Oh so sorry we were told, we will get to this, come back next weekend. Tried calling and calling and calling week later, getting run around on phone, no one making any effort to help post sale. First told "getting those things done come back on Saturday". Later told "oh we don't have you down for black running boards, just the regular chrome ones", review bill of sale and it says nothing at all about colour and tell the guy, that is what we ordered black and that was clear on second trip up there. Oh we didn't charge you for this. Too Bad that is your error not mine. Ok we haven't painted them yet (although told earlier they were out being painted), and oh can you come back next week to get your truck. NEVER EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER. DISRESPECTFUL Just want to cancel the purchase altogether and go to a dealer that respects me and respects the fact that I was paying $50,000 for a vehicle. More

Excellent service We were visiting Barrie from Nova Scotia and the day before we left for home (Feb 22 nd) we took our Toyota Venza for a drive and it ran very rough li We were visiting Barrie from Nova Scotia and the day before we left for home (Feb 22 nd) we took our Toyota Venza for a drive and it ran very rough like it wasn't firing on all cylinders. We took it into Jackson's Toyota at 2 PM. They did a diagnostic check and found #4 cylinder injector was fouled. We had injectors flushed and by 4 PM we were on our way with the car purring nicely. We drove home to Nova Scotia in some pretty miserable weather at times with no issues with our vehicle. The people were very friendly and the service was efficient and excellent. Thank you. More

At Jackson's Toyota I was warmly greeted by a wom I had visited 4 car dealerships Tuesday Aug 18th looking for the best deal in the small SUV segment. At Jackson's Toyota I was warmly greeted by a woman at the front door asking what I was looking for and she immediately set me up with a salesperson. The salesperson was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and took me for a test drive. He introduced me to the General Manager who was equally knowledgeable and demonstrated an equally high level of interpersonal skill. This dealership offers innovative benefits each day during the week for those waiting for their service to be completed. I am meeting with the salesperson today (Thursday) with my wife to finalize colours and purchase my RAV 4. Of the 4 different car dealerships I visited Jackson's Toyota provided the best car negotiation experience by their staff and very good value for their product. I had some technical concerns about my vehicle and people I thought were competent were soon revealed to be completely unknowledgeable -- i.e. I spoke to someone in wearing coveralls thinking they were a service technician and after an unnecessarily long conversation this person revealed to me that he was just an auto detailer and didn't know anything about the vehicle. Service Advisors know little about the vehicles they are writing work orders for as well. It is terrible to sit in the waiting area and listen to Technicians and Service Advisors scam unknowing customers to approve unnecessary work. Been there several times and they use the same lines... "So, you are going on a long road trip.... you need to fix..." Simply put go somewhere else! They are more concerned with selling you their loyalty programs and marketing campaigns rather than delivering quality repairs. More

Purchased a used Tundra from Jacksons Toyota with no disclosure that the CarProof Vehicle History reported an accident claim before we bought it. This was only found out when we traded the Tundra in to buy another vehicle at another Toyota dealership. This dealership made us aware that the CarProof reported an accident history before we bought it. Complaint made to the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council. We will never buy from Jacksons again and will be telling our friends about this also. More

Asked to look at A Toyota Sienna, used possibly new. The salesman said he had a great deal on a used one just brought in. He just had to find the keys! waited almost an hour for this man to slowly walk office to office looking for keys. We stopped him at one point to say " what colour is it because we have a white in mind", "Oh its white I'm pretty sure…"he replied. An hour later pulled around in a blue sienna with a cracked windshield. Instant disappointment but had an open mind and took it for a drive. It smelled inside and was not very clean at all. Had a bumping coming from the back which the salesman said must have been the dealer plate bumping…..no don't think so….When we came back we let him know that this wasn't for us and maybe could we look at the other used one in the front. So he slowly head back in looking for keys, waited another 10 mins just to look in to see him trying to sell another couple a car inside! You would think he wasted enough of our day!! We left very disappointed! Thanks to Nowell for wasting our time! More
A very unhappy customer. A vehicle of ours was taken there for a safety. They informed us the vehicle needed new front brakes and other repairs that would have brought the bi A vehicle of ours was taken there for a safety. They informed us the vehicle needed new front brakes and other repairs that would have brought the bill to almost $1000. Included in the repairs necessary to pass the safety was rear brake service. We had rear brake service performed on the vehicle 3 months previous to the inspection. At a subsequent safety inspection at another Toyota dealership, the vehicle passed without any of the repairs and service Jacksons Toyota told us were necessary. The vehicle will need brakes in 3 to 6 months, but passed for the purposes of the safety. I am sure there are people who have had satisfactory experiences at Jacksons Toyota and their service department. I am not one of them, and will not return to Jacksons Toyota. More
