I'm going to retell my experience and allow you the consumer to make up your own assumptions. The only reason I'm awarding them a star higher than 1 is based on the integrity and service I received from the gentleman who sold me my vehicle - whom I recently found out left this dealership because of their "business practices". I waited a LONG time to make my move up from 2010 Jeep Patriot to 2014 Wrangler, the wrangler has been my dream car for years, and when the time came to make the old trade in and trade up I went to these guys. I was greeted at the door by the gentleman who would eventually sell me my car (whom I'll leave nameless to protect). This guy was from the old school of customer service, asked me my needs, got me coffee, took me in and out of a dozen vehicles and was really low pressure. I appreciated that. Heck he even sent me a hand written card in the mail thanking me for my business! Do people even do that anymore? Amazing. I knew I'd be financing my new car and trading in my old one, so when it came time to "do the numbers" I had "the meeting" with one of the sales managers. He sat me down and instead of playing things straight with me, held a piece of paper away from my face as if they were poker cards and asked me what I was willing to pay, I told him. He look at the paper, said from what he was looking at he couldn't do that. I figured 'OK' negotiation time... let's dance. Instead of entering into negotiation mode, this slick rick in a fancy suit played games with me like I was guessing numbers, treated me like a child, was insulting to my intelligence. He basically just kept saying - "I have a number on my paper and I just cannot do what you're saying". That's fine, but at least tell me what numbers we're talking about so I can make an educated decision. No? Fine... OK.. So I walked away saying I would think about it, when in fact I had decided to go to another set of dealerships. End of story... Not so, a few days later I received a call from a different sales manager, essentially begging me to come back, playing the perfect good cop. And when I expressed my disgust at how I had been treated he played the good cop more and said "let me work with the numbers and get back to you ASAP." To his credit after several hours, he did finally get back to me with a too good to be true proposition. One good enough to make me give the dealership a second chance. So I returned set to make a great deal. Upon my return everyone was smiles, and slick rick, even stayed far FAR away from me to not sully the process. We began the paper work and then 'Oopsie' guess what? - manager number two comes over and apologizes "deeply" for getting the math wrong and in fact the price he quoted was no longer possible. Guess we need to start over again... Suddenly there is a number, one that I assume is the original number, slick rick wouldn't tip his hand to. At least now I had a number to work with - so let's dance part 2. After some painful negotiation we agreed on a price in the UPPER end of my price range and it was time for finance. Enter Mr. Umar, (yeah I'll say his name since he is the finance guy and others have mentioned him). He's the guy that processes your financing and pushes all the extras on you, oil spray, extended warranty, etc, etc, etc. I was prepared to get an extended warranty and I did. But his methods were no kosher in my opinion. I believe the approach he used was... "so let's look at the jeep, see how thin the doors are, you that will rust up right quick so i mean you'd be stupid to not get the oil spray... I mean you look like a smart guy so obviously you're going with that... so moving on" There.. that comment right there, lost ya the extra bucks buddy. Sure my jeep might rust in Canadian conditions, but I'd sooner drive 140km/h on the highway in -40C weather with a giant rust hole in my door than be spoken to like that! He even argued with me that my mechanic wasn't qualified enough to change my oil when I refused buying my oil changes from them - told me it would void my warranty, and he said it as a threat! Seriously? But you're right it's my choice and my loss - no skin off your back. But still, leave the sleeze where it belongs - on used car lots in the 80's with the guys rocking out of season sport jackets and a greasy toupee. So in the end... am I happy with my car? Yes. Did I enjoy the process - xxxx no! Do I feel like I got douped by their bad cop, bad cop sales tactics - Yep! Did I let my 'want' of my dream car cloud my judgement? Ya definitely. Would I recommend shopping at this dealership. Not unless your car breaks down out front.. There are hundreds of other Chrysler dealerships - shop elsewhere More

Ryan at Islington Chrysler was the best sales person I dealt with of all the manufacturers. Not only was he knowledgeable about Chrysler and their competitors vehicles, he was also the easiest to talk to. So often you walk into a dealership and feel that you're being oversold. Ryan was down to earth, frank with his responses and a trusted advisor. I loved the Jeep Cherokee! Thank you! More

I do my comparison shopping religiously and always find Islington has the best deals. My sister also recently purchased a new Grand Caravan from Jordan and Jay-Jay and is absolutely thrilled with the amazing price. Please go and check out the other dealership's as I did, and I trust you will find yourself back at Islington for both sales and service. Also, you must check out my service review!! I've been dealing with Islington for a few years now and can say they are consistent in maintaining a very high level of genuine concern for customer satisfaction. I find the impressive caliber of staff that Kris has been able to secure, very inviting. Faithfully, Stefan More

Over the years my trust in the service department at Islington has never faltered. Serge, Calvin and Shane are always welcoming and thorough in explaining the necessary and completed repairs. Recently, I had just completed some grocery shopping and was a short distance from the dealership when the check engine light illuminated. Not knowing how serious it might be, I made a U turn, and arrived at the dealership unscheduled. Nevertheless, Serge assured me it would be investigated to determine the problem. Not only that, but he also placed my groceries in the fridge so nothing would spoil while I was waiting. How can you beat that for service??? You should also know that Elvin the service manager is always available to discuss any clarification you might seek. I am without doubt a repeat and satisfied customer. Respectfully, Stefan More

All questions answered I was considering a Jeep Trail Hawk as my next car, and called Islington dealership to book a test drive, as this specific model was hard to find. Tre I was considering a Jeep Trail Hawk as my next car, and called Islington dealership to book a test drive, as this specific model was hard to find. Tre Johnson met me there and we took the car for a spin. Tre was extremely friendly and patient answering my questions about various technical features and demonstrated all the technology in action. Let me tell you - the guy knows his stuff, and four hours and three test drives later, we went down to sign on the dotted line. One of the tipping points for me - they gave a decent price for my trade-in SUV, and got me a good deal on the new one. Next day we picked up our new car and my wife and I were very satisfied with the whole experience, and of course our brand new Trail Hawk. I would not hesitate a bit to recommend the Islington dealership and personally Tre Johnson to my friends. More

I have been known to walk out when this process begins. Imagine my surprise as this was NOT what happened at Islington Chrysler when I purchased a used Mazda Miata in July 2015 The dealership was friendly and I was treated with respect. I met Sumit Khanduja who showed me the vehicle and answered my questions and when I started discussing price he took me directly to Pat Cimino the used vehicle sales manager. Pat is amazing and very personable! He was extremely helpful and at no time did I feel uncomfortable or pressured. He went with me on a test drive and I felt like we were 2 guys out for an afternoon spin. Even when we got down to the negotiations I was at ease; "no pressure" Pat went above and beyond the norm to meet my needs. When it came time to sign on the dotted line Jay Jay made me aware of some options but did not try and over sell them. I would recommend that you check out this dealership for their courtesy and honesty an no pressure sales approach. Thank you for the excellent service you provided. More
